10:15 pm. that same day.

"Wheeeew shyat, finally done."

You had finally finished organizing your room and bathroom and bitch, you was tired denamf. (😭💀) You heard your friends already in the living room picking a show out to watch on the tv, so you changed out of your clothes, threw on your bonnet and went out to join them.

Bleu' had his bed set up under the tv while Kimora was in the kitchen popping the popcorn. Ashanti was sitting down on the couch with a big blanket scrolling through Amazon Prime.

"Damn y'all ain't waste no time getting comfortable did y'all?" you chuckle while shaking your head.

"This is our apartment ain't it? Duh i'm finna get comfortable in this expensive ass place, I feel like I den got flewed the fuck out," Ashanti says, making you and Kimora bust out laughing.

"Okay Ms Caresha," you say in between laughs as you plop down on the couch next to Ashanti, while Kimora walks over with the bowl of popcorn.

"So how y'all feel about our first day? Y'all nervous?" you turn to the other two and rest your head on your propped up elbow on the couch.

"Ehhh shit not really, I'm actually kinda excited." Kimora says first, tossing a popcorn in her mouth.

"I mean, I get to see my nigga everyday now soooo you know I'm straight," Ashanti adds in.

"Why the hell did you decide to fuck with a nigga from another state anyways 'Shanti?" you give her a crazy look.

"Now you know Memphis niggas are straight hoes and bums bestie," Ashanti deadpanned. "Now y'all need boyfriends too cause i'm not letting y'all third wheel," Ashanti jokes, waving her finger around.

"Well I don't mind finding a boo or whatever, but I'm not sure about you, Y/n, with..." Kimora let's her voice trail off, then looks over to you while you look back at her and Ashanti.

"Ehh, ima just go with the flow this time around, ian gon just avoid every nigga I see, but ian really looking for no relationship for right now. Especially how it fucked me over the last time..." you trail off.

Y'all sit in silence for a couple seconds. Although they knew what happened with your last relationship, you weren't about to let it affect your new life in a whole new state.

"But anyways, like I said. This year we needa turn the fuck up okay? Nigga or no nigga, let's make it fun like we always do. We need to find parties and kickbacks to go to fasho." you change the subject, brightening the mood. Your bestfriends nod and hum in agreement.

"Now, y'all tryna rewatch Power?"

"Ughhhh bitch no, what is it with you and Power?!" 'Shanti grumbles, crossing her arms over her chest while throwing her head back.

"Okay y'all can't even sayyy Tariq not fine as fuck!"
you laugh while leaning towards her and shaking her arm.

"Ayoo you down bad for that one," Kimora snickers while continuing to eat the popcorn, making you and 'Shanti laugh even harder.
