HARRY"Fuck, Harry! Put me down! I'll walk!" Blair yelled and swatted at my back simply because I was carrying her over my shoulders. I gently put her down before intertwining our fingers together and continuing our way towards the elevator. We had landed in New York City a little bit ago, and were making the dreaded walk out of our hotel for the next couple of days.
I entered the key to the hotel's lobby and leaned against elevator door while Blair remained completely silent. We were going to get Italian food, like she had requested earlier.
"Why are you being so quiet B?" I asked and wrapped my arms around her waist, staring down at her. She looked at me and raised her brow. "Because I'm tired, Harold. You kept me up the whole plane ride." She said in her 'duh' voice. I fought the urge to laugh at her reply and just acted confused. "Why? What did I do" I asked.
She just looked at me and smiled. "You idiot, let's just go." She sighed and pulled my hand as the elevator door opened. We looked outside the hotel and our assumptions are right, there was no paps lurking around. We went outside and walked our way to her favorite Italian eatery in the city.
"You cold?" I asked. She shook her head but I didn't believe her. Her nose was starting to get rosy and knowing Blair, she doesn't like or want help. Ever. I opened my coat and slipped my arm off the right side. "Come, we can fit inside this coat." I told her grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards me.
She grinned and took my hand, doing a little twirl in the middle of the sidewalk and into the right side of my coat. She snuggled herself inside and wrapped her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly.
I eyed her before grabbing her left hand and putting it on my waist, I did the same thing on her. "I told you so. We just have to hug to get warm." I told her sweetly and kissed the top of her head. I watched as her cheeks flushed red and she smiled down at the ground, kicking a little piece of gravel on the sidewalk.
We continued our way to find the Italian restaurant that Blair had so much to say about and cheered as it came into sight. She unwrapped herself from my jacket and ran inside as if she were a little kid. I held the door for a couple behind me and followed my girlfriend quickly inside.
We each drank a glass of water and looked over the menu as we waited for our waiter or waitress to come over and take our order. I whipped my head around quickly as I felt a tap on my shoulder, and the smell of a vanilla perfume.
A strawberry blonde sat behind me, leaning over the booth. I looked over at Blair who almost spit out her water in surprise, but quickly composed herself. "Harry! How's it going?!" The ginger asked, brushing her hand across my sleeve.
I pulled my arm away and pretended to adjust my shirt, although there was nothing to adjust. "Chelsea?" Blair and I both asked in unison.
Chelsea Haven was the girl that had replaced the front desk worker at Blair's studio. The other woman had quit after she hooked up with Timothée.
"What are you doing in New York?" I asked. Blair nodded behind me, obviously asking herself the same thing. "Well I needed to get out of LA for a little while and I heard Blair was hosting some sort of session here, so I thought I'd drop by! And what do you know, I happened to run into you guys here!" She exclaimed loudly, following with a false laugh.
Blair pressed her lips into a thin line, clearly not believing a word she said. "Well it's nice to see you, Chelsea." She smiled, putting aside everything she probably wanted to say.
"Oh yeah, hi Blair. Anyways Harry, I'll see you around." Chelsea grinned at me, rising up from her seat and using my arm to help her get up. I stared her up and down awkwardly then turned away from her, hiding behind the menu.
Blair and I stared at each other then back at Chelsea, making sure she was gone for good. We didn't want anything public, and we couldn't risk Chelsea taking pictures or videos of us.
"Why the fuck is she here?!" Blair whisper yelled to me behind her menu once Chelsea was gone. "I have no idea. I didn't invite her, that's for sure." I rolled my eyes.
The one peaceful moment I got alone with my girlfriend, someone always had to go and ruin it. "And why the fuck is she so obsessed with you? I noticed that when you and Jeff came the other day. Like back off, he doesn't want you." Blair ranted.
I laughed and intertwined my hands with hers, rubbing my thumb across her palm. "Don't worry, I'm all yours. You've got my full attention tonight." I smiled.
She smiled sheepishly back at me, squeezing my hand. "Thank you, Harry."
"It's the least I can do, really." I denied.
We ordered our food and ate it rather quickly, filling ourselves up until we couldn't eat a single bite more. She got her gnocchi like she wished, and I may have taken a bite or ten off of her plate.
Tomorrow was her big day, and Chelsea or not, I wouldn't let anyone ruin it for her.
