HARRY

"DO you see that one?" Blair asked me, pointing up at the sky above us. Her hair laid across the grass naturally, her loose curls flowing from her head. Her hands rested naturally on her stomach as her eyes remained focused on the dazzling night sky above us.

"It's so pretty." I marveled, also staring up at the vast darkness above us. A constellation was displaying right above blair's head, the stars aligning perfectly. Beside it, the moon glowed bright as ever, adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the whole night.

It had been a week since our gender reveal, and nearly two months since the Billboard Awards. Our minds and bodies were now finally at peace, the huge amounts of stress disintegrating off of ourselves.

"It's crazy to think how much has changed in these 6 months, Harry." Blair sighed, turning her head to face me. "I'm in love with our future already, though. I just know I am." She smiled, taking both of my hands and placing them into her own.

"We have so many beautiful things to look forward to." I smiled back. "We have Moon and a possible tour for Supernova." I announced excitedly.

Even the thought of Moon made my heart do laps. I couldn't wait to meet her. Write songs about her, watch her grow up. Watch the relationship she'll have with Blair, and most importantly, watch myself transform into a father.

"And we have your debut album! And your tour! I'm so fucking excited and proud, Haz." She cheered. "That's on the back burner for now, B. We have so many more important things coming up instead of my album and tour and I just—" I began to say before being interrupted by Blair.

"What?! Fuck no! Your music comes first, always. I've been waiting for the moment it comes out, and I know you have too." She announced, squeezing my hands tighter.

"Thank you, Cherié. That means a lot to me." I smiled, placing a quick kiss atop her forehead.

"And I haven't even heard all of the fucking songs yet! You're so damn secretive." She giggled, letting go of my hands and rolling back over so that her eyes met with the night sky.

"Because they're all about you! I cant spoil all of my surprises." I laughed.

"Well I think that's just bullshit." She playfully scoffed, dramatically crossing her arms. "Do you know when you want to release it?" She changed the subject quickly.

"Well, let's see.." I began to think, counting numbers on my fingertips. "If now is March, I'd say maybe around May? I don't know." I sighed, moving closer to Blair and plopping my head in the space between her neck and head.

"I like May. That would be a good time. That means only two months, though! Are you really that close?" She asked eagerly, moving so that my head fit snugly in her neck.

"I mean, yeah! I think so. I have 12 songs right now, and i'll probably cut some, but I feel like it's missing one last song. I'm sure it will come to me eventually." I sighed, the stress of the upcoming album immediately overcoming me.

"Dont stress over it, angel. Everything you do is completely your choice any nobody else's. Everyone will love whatever you decide to put out." She smiled and ran a hand through my loose curls.

"I just feel so much pressure to live up to this pop image I had in the band, but if we're being fucking honest, Blair, I'm nowhere close to that anymore. " I began to rant.

Without responding with words, she allowed me to get everything off of my chest, interjecting with a soft 'mhm' every now and then.

"I feel so much pressure to outdo the other boys. to be the best version of myself. but honestly, I just want to make stuff that's true to me. Songs about kissing a random girl and dancing aren't meaningful to me." I sighed and rubbing my temples with my fingertips.

"I love having the creative control, it's just that I don't want people to take my music as a fucking joke. I mean, you know how well Mind of Mine has been doing. What if I look fucking awful next to Zayn?" I spat out.

I could feel the soft movement of Blair's head nodding as she processed my thoughts and feelings.

"You have a reason to feel that way, Haz. I mean, for fucks sake! Your every move has been in the media since you were like 16. It's understandable, I just think you need to focus on you and only you. " she began to say.

"If it's really something you're passionate about, then you'll know that it's a piece that belongs on the album. A song like Best Song Ever wouldn't make it on there, because it isn't you." She added, her words finally starting to click in my brain.

"Sign of the Times, however, is such a beautiful song that you created and you wrote. Something like that belongs on a debut album." She finished. "Thank you, angel. From the bottom of my heart." I smiled breathlessly.

"Dont thank me, H. It's the truth." She smiled back, placing a quick kiss onto my lips. We both turned our attention back to the moon, staring at it aimlessly. It was nearing two in the morning, but we were both too in love with our given situation to care.

"The moon looks so pretty. i'm in love with it." Blair smiled gently, pointing her index finger up towards the sky. "I love the moonlight. " I whispered, agreeing with her statement.

"Harry?" She asked me. Her eyes still stared at the sky, not meeting with mine. "Hm?" I murmured, allowing my girlfriend to continue.

"You're my moonlight." She replied quietly.

"Your moonlight?" I reiterated.

"Yeah, my moonlight. And my sweetener. " She laughed slightly. She placed her small hand up to her mouth in an attempt to stifle the high pitched burst of laughter escaping from her lips.

"Now I'm just confused." I laughed slightly, burying my head deeper into her neck and continuing to gaze up at the stars above us. "I mean, your my sweetener! My moonlight! When shit is bitter, you bring light and sweetness to the situation." She smiled.

"I love that." I replied breathlessly, at a loss for what else to say. However, nothing else needed to be said. The only thing we needed was to be present in that moment, not over complicate it with too many words.

I was her moonlight.
