THE music blasted from the speakers, the crackling surface noise sound barely audible over the roar of the crowd.

The karaoke club drew a large crowd every night, and the club was particularly packed in celebration of Blair's award.

Sure, it was dim in that room, but that was all anyone should expect from somewhere so full with sweaty bodies grinding on top of each other to the thumping beat of whatever song that was playing. People stood on stage and sang songs together, everyones drunk state of mind making them careless.

And there she was; the only sober girl in the room. Pregnant, of course. Otherwise she'd be just as wasted as the rest of them. Harry left the bathroom and pushed past the crowded party, rushing to try and find Blair. She was a small girl, which made it even more difficult to find her.

It was safe to say that Harrys face was one of great familiarity because of his relationship with Blair, so the people that stood dancing were startled to be shoved by him.

Harry watched as his young woman skipped haphazardly up the steps and across the stage, an expression of pure joy crossing her face. She left Pete in the crowd, who still didn't take his eyes off of her.

That bothered Harry, and he took it as more confirmation that he was doing the right thing. Harry made it to the front of the crowd and leaped onto the stage, wrapping Blair in a hug from behind.

The crowd stopped dancing and watched as Blair's gasp into the microphone blended with Harry's hearty laughter. He let her go and turned her around to face him, positioning her in a certain place to stand.

He gently pried the microphone from her hands and placed it into the stand, clearing his throat and adjusting a button on his sweat stained shirt. He watched his mother in the crowd who wore a pair of furrowed brows, wondering what all of Harry's commotion was about.

The music stopped and the room grew silent. The only left over noise consisted of Mikey chatting with Troye, but he quickly fell silent once he realized Harry was up on stage.

"I apologize." Harry spoke into the mic. The crowds brows all furrowed simultaneously, reaching their necks out to gaze at the man on stage.

"Baby, what are you—" His girlfriend began to whisper, placing her hands on his shoulder. He quickly brushed her off with a sheepish grin and pointed at her place on the stage, muttering something to her about patience.

"I apologize for stopping the music," He grinned at his girlfriend while he spoke into the microphone. "But this is really important, trust me." He placed his hands up into the air as a defense.

His shiny forehead glistened beneath the stage lighting, making him appear luminescent. "I've been working up the courage to do this all night, so due to the copious amounts of alcohol I've had, this may not be the best speech ever. So bare with me." He grinned again, flashing his natural charm.

Beside him, Blair swallowed harshly. Harry wondered, had she pieced it together yet? Probably not. She was quite easy to surprise.

"Blair is a very special person to me, you all know that." Harry began again with a slump in his posture. "She's always been there for me, and for that I thank you love." Harry smiled.

"As you all may know, some very— unfortunate things have happened to the both of us, but we're doing alright now." He began rambling. He looked over at Chelsea in the crowd for reassurance.

She nodded at him with approval and Harry reeled himself back in, continuing his speech. "What I'm so desperately trying to say is, over these past couple months where it's just felt like the world was ducking against us, I've grown to be grateful for it all." He said.

Blair's face looked even more confused as she began to chew the side of her nail and twist the ring Harry had given her around her finger; a telltale sign that the young woman was nervous.

"I know that sounds weird. I know, I know. But the reason Im grateful is because it took all of me to learn this one simple lesson." Harry announced. "You never realize how good something is until it's gone."

"You never realize how much you love someone or something until you can't be with them, or wake up with them, or fall asleep with them. I'm truly embarrassed that it took all of that to help me realize it, but I'm grateful that I did." Harry smiled back at his petite brunette girlfriend.

"And as all of you can probably assume, the 'thing' I lost was Blair." He used his fingers to make air quotes. "I could say a million and one positive things about her, but I certainly do not want to waste anymore of anyones time. So instead, I'll just say this." Harry smiled.

He pulled Blair closer to him and wrapped her into a tight hug as she whispered that she was confused into his chest, but he shushed her and held her hands in his.

He looked back at Chelsea who nodded her head and smiled. Harry reached into his pocket and retrieved the small little box, opening it and displaying it to Blair.

"Blair Klein, will you marry me?" Harry asked with a smile. His eyes began to water from a combination of bright lights, alcohol and the sight of Blair sobbing.

"Oh my God, of course!" Blair yelled and jumped into Harrys arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. He slipped the ring onto her finger as all of the couples friends and family cheered around them.

Blair cried into Harrys shoulder, holding onto him tight as ever. She peppered his face in small kisses, looking down every few seconds to admire her ring.

"Haz, it's so beautiful." She whispered.

"Do you like the pearl on it?" Harry asked as he wiped a strand of hair out of her face and put her down. She nodded her head vigorously, "What is it from?" Blair asked peered up at Harry.

"The ring your grandfather gave you before he passed." Harry answered quietly and stared at the ground. Blair said nothing and instead began to cry, not looking Harry in the eyes.

"Angel, Im sorry. I can get it removed if you'd—" The boy began to apologize profusely, reaching out to take the ring off.

Blair snatched her hand back and shook her head no, taking in a deep breath and staring into Harrys forrest green eyes.

"Please, no. It's perfect. I wouldn't change a thing."
