BLAIR

I woke up the next morning with a massive head ache, I groaned as my vision started to get hazy.  I felt so dizzy and just out of it. Suddenly I felt the urge to throw up, I ran my way towards the hotel bathroom, stubbing my toe on the door in the process.

"Shit." I muttered and kneeled down over the toilet and threw up. I sat down on the bathroom floor,
leaning my back against the wall and just stared at the sink. My mouth tasted so bitter and gross but I still had zero energy in my body to stand up. I felt a lump in my throat followed by a gaping pit in my stomach as I threw up again.

Fucking hell, how much wine did I consume last night? Maybe too much, because I didn't remember even having any. I finally stood up and leaned on the sink, grabbing hold of my toothbrush and toothpaste before brushing my teeth for about 4 times to make sure there's no remnants of the bitter taste anymore.

I got two of the pills I usually used for my hangovers and swallowed them with some leftover random liquid on the bathroom counter. I was just too desperate for the pounding headache to get away.

I exited the bathroom and grabbed my phone from the bedside table, I unlocked it and saw that Harry texted me not too long ago.

Woke up to a pounding headache, a stomach ache from the pounds of gnocchi and your wonderful album playing in my head. Good morning, angel. I adore you xx

I smiled at the sincere text, he's such a gentleman. He's a rare type, you don't meet men like him very often anymore. He had headed of to the gym to squeeze in a quick workout before we had to leave later.

i adore you too and good-morning. i've already thrown up twice and taken two pills, today is off two a great start lol

I went downstairs and saw Mommy and Frankie at the kitchenette built into our hotel room. They suddenly stopped and stared at me, Frankie shook his head in disappointment. "You look so gross." He said and gave me a hot mug filled with throat-coat tea, a ritual before any performance of mine.

I mumbled a simple 'thanks' to him before sitting across from them. "What happened to you, princess?" My mom asked me, brushing a strand of hair away from my face. "Dammit, nothing happened to me." I replied with an attitude.

I instantly regretted being sour to my Mom, and my eyes softened as I mumbled a soft 'Sorry, I didn't mean that'.

"What songs are you singing today?" Frankie asked me, sensing the tension and changing the subject. "Boyfriend for sure, and I'm thinking I'll do Nasa. Maybe Goodnight n Go as well." I answered. My Mom and Frankie gave me a small nod of approval.

"Good choices, baby." My mom smiled, patting me on the back as I sipped my tea. I checked my phone once more, searching for a response from Harry. Nothing yet, he was probably still at the gym.

I ate a bite Frankie's leftover food and tapped my fingers on the table. Mom left the dining area and went over to her and Frankies hotel room while I sat with my brother in peace.

"Everything okay?" Frankie asked her me, I wore a soft look on my face. "Is it later?" I nodded slightly, seeing no point in denying it. "It's going to go perfectly, Blair." He said clapping his hands together for me.

"Yeah, just — I don't know." I muttered fiddling with the rings on my fingers. My brother nodded in an understanding manner, "You're going to do amazing like always. And we're all going to be there cheering you on." Frankie said with a warm smile. I nodded and let out a small sigh.

I waited for my curly haired boy to return from
his workout and greet me, because everything would be okay then. I played with the dogs to kill time because he always spends too much time at the gym.

A knock on the hotel room door alerted me a few minutes later and I rushed to the door, opening it to see my sweaty boyfriend.

"Hey," I said offering a small wave and messed with his hair. He kissed my cheek and stepped inside, greeting everyone else in the room.

"Harry!" My Nona called from the small couch, waving him over with her thick Italian accent. He smiled and waltzed over to her, telling her good morning. I looked to where my grandmother and the green eyed man sat. "Nona really likes him." I looked up at my brother then to where Harry and my Nona sat.

"He's a nice guy." He shrugged. Frankie was always extra critical of my boyfriends, I think because he knew how naive I could be. Frankie gave me a look, "He is."

"I know. I just -- isn't it too soon?" Frankie asked with a sigh, leaning his chin into the palms of his hands. "Frankie, we're friends." I lied. He knew I was lying.

"Friends don't kiss their other smelly sweaty friends after the gym. I can tell when you're lying, B." He judged.  "Whatever. I like him, Frankie." I argued. He chatted up with my Nona quite a bit.

Frankie titled his head at me, "Not with the way he looks at you. Friends don't get that look. " I rolled my eyes, "I just don't want you to get into something this soon after —"  "I understand, Frankie." I cut my brother off, "We're just friends, and I'm focused on the sessions and this trip right now."  Frankie nodded, "I know I just met him but he seems nice, and like he cares about you." He noted as I glanced over my shoulder seeing Harry show my grandmother something on his phone.

"You're old enough to make your own decisions but you're still my little sister and I have to look out for you —"  "As if you don't have the shittiest taste in men." I smiled sarcastically.

"That was very unnecessary. Anyways, don't rush it. You're still young with nothing to loose —"

"I know." I said letting Myron down to join Toulouse who ran around and the hotel room. "I don't even think I'll be ready for that kinda thing for a while —" I shrugged, but I knew my brother however didn't believe my words.

Though this one seemed different, I knew he still held out hope that I would be careful after what I had been through already. I pressed my lips to my  brothers cheek and walked away to where Harry sat.

"Nona, I'm gonna steal him for a bit." She nodded as I approached them. "I was just telling Harry how you used to get sent in the corner in preschool for kissing boys." She laughed as my cheeks flushed pink in embarrassment. "She still does!" Frankie exclaimed from the other side of the room.

"Okay, family. I think that's enough." Harry stood up with a smile on his lips as the woman continued.  "I remember one time when her teacher called her mother —"  Frankie snickered as Nona continued to overshare with Harry. Mind you, this was their first time meeting.

Harry and I walked away, "I think my Nona has a crush on you." I joked playfully. Harry laughed, "Oh, she's everything I could ever want and more." He joked, earning a nudge from me.
