I just wanted to share some of my head-canons about Mr. Komaeda and maybe hear some of yours too!
Obviously these are all just my viewpoints and are not real. If you don't agree, that's okay! Please don't argue over them though, like I said, it's only an opinion and it's alright to have different thoughts and views :)

- I personally think Nagito is 'hopesexual'. So I suppose pansexual would fit him the most. I know a lot of people hc him as gay and I totally understand where they're coming from, but I believe that Nagito will fall in love with anyone who displays a large amount of hope. This is shown by Kamukura, who literally shoots him but since he is the Ultimate Hope, Nagito is instantly smitten. Aphrodisiac scene, he talks about hope. When he is brainwashed, he still retains his love for hope which is why he 'loves' and hates Junko. He loves her from the despair side of things but hates her because he sides with hope. I don't think hope is the main reason he'll fall in love with someone, I mean it's clear he has some feelings for Hajime, but I think the topic of hope and despair would veer his romantic interests greatly.

- If he ever played a Pokémon game, he'd totally get a shiny starter. I can imagine him playing HGSS and getting all three shiny straight away lmao. I even wrote a small shitfic about him getting both the HGSS roamers on the same reset. If you don't know what that means, then don't worry about it. Just shiny hunting tings that revolve greatly around luck.

He's a switch. I normally write him as a dom for self indulgent reasons lmao but I would say he's a switch. Can be a hard bottom if you so desire as well as dominant af. Although I think he'd like to be on the receiving end more than he lets on, whether that be pleasure or praise. I also reckon he's quite whiny/needy in bed. Very vocal; starts rambling a lot while you're at it, most likely about how good it feels and the hope you bring him. Self deprecates quite a bit but it's up to you to prove to him just how much he's worth. Definitely up for trying new things in bed, an experimentalist and will do anything for you if you ask. However if he doesn't like it, he'll tell you in his own weird way. Think free time when you give him a gift he doesn't like.

-Let's be fair he probably doesn't take good care of himself. You'd likely have to remind him to eat and drink enough water as well as make sure he takes his meds. I reckon this stems from his self esteem though; he doesn't believe he deserves self care etc. So it's up to you to make him realise the truth!

-Defo a lover of both dogs and cats, more dogs due to his childhood pet but he likes both. If you're living with this man, expect to get a pet.

-pet names for you are defo little hope, darling, love or beautiful. Usually uses 'my' before each one (bar beautiful) like for example, my little hope or my love.
As you can tell from my writing, I think 'my little hope' is the cutest nickname ever I can't get enough of it lmfao. Your pet names for him? Well that's up to you, but I think he'd like to be praised such as calling him handsome or referring to him as 'good luck', e.g. 'lucky charm'

-Likes to be the big spoon so he can reassure himself with your presence but is happy to be the little spoon too. Giving him head pats and cuddles when he's feeling down is the best way to cheer him up.

-At first he'd probably be a little reluctant to touch and kiss you because of his belief he doesn't deserve it/will bring you bad luck but once he settles and you convince him he's worth it, he'd probably be clinging to you like a koala to a tree. Kisses, hugs and hand holding; he'd always want to give you his affection no matter where you are.

-jealousy? yes. 100%. Due to his low self-esteem he believes that any another person would be better for you than him. So once you start getting friendly with someone, he gets incredibly needy. He doesn't like to admit he's jealous though, thinking that 'trash like him should be grateful that you even speak to him'. Signs that he's jealous are: he'll start initiating PDA obnoxiously, always holding or touching some part of your body, SASSY NAGITO TO THE PERSON YOU'RE TALKING TO AHHH ('Huh? Jeez... do I really have to explain this to you?') and expect to be dragged straight to bed (for cuddles n maybe a make out) when you get home.
