PIPER

My eyes widen at the news my parents just told me, I have to marry Theodore fucking Nott? My sister holds my hand beside me, knowing I hate this man with everything I have.

Why I hate him? I'm not sure, but we have always hated each other since we first met, which was when both of our parents were getting awarded the Mafia's.

My mother, Athena Parkinson, goes on ranting about how she doesn't want her daughter to marry someone as cruel as him, from her point of view.

Meanwhile my father, Sebastian Parkinson, is telling her that Theodore is a good guy for me, and that he isn't as bad as he seems from her point of view.

"Mother, you can't actually let father do this," Pansy interrupted.

"She's not the one making calls here Pansy!" My father yells.

"You are going to marry the Nott boy and that's final! Unless of course, Pansy would rather marry him?" My father says.

"Sorry father," Pansy mutters and sits back down beside me.

"I'm not going to let you marry my sister!" My brother yells standing up.

"Don't test me son, don't think I can't kick your ass." My father gets up in Pierce's face.

"You might be able too, but I'm not letting my sister get whored off to a family we barely know anything about!"

"We know enough about them!" My father yells and pushes Pierce to the ground.

"This is complete bullshit!" I yell before running up to my room.

"You are not to cuss in this household!" My father yells after me.

I slam my door shut before throwing myself on my bed, I pick up my phone and call my best friend, Kelly Garcia.

"Hello?" I hear her say.

"Hey, it's me," I sigh.

"Oh hey Piper, what's wrong?" She questions.

"Can we meet up? I need to get out of here," I ask.

"Yeah sure, meet me at my house," she says.

"Okay, see you." I hang up the phone and make my way to the bathroom.

I finish getting ready in a black skintight dress with a jean jacket over top. I grab my phone and my bag before walking downstairs.

"Where do you think you're going young lady?" My father questions.

"Since this is my last week of freedom, might as well enjoy it, no?" I shrug before leaving.

(at Kellys house)

"So what's wrong?" Kelly asks breaking from the hug.

"It's this fucking mafia bullshit," I sigh.

"My father is forcing me to marry Nott."

"Theodore Nott?" I nod. "For real?"

"Yes! I don't want this, I'm not ready for marriage and especially with the man I hate the most." She pulls me into her arms.

"We should party," she says.

"For what? My bachelorette party?" I laugh.

"Kind of? Just for fun you know? Because he might not let you go out anymore once you've tied the knot."

"Never say 'tied the knot' again." We both start laughing.

"Okay okay, but let's go for a party." She pulls me from her couch.

"But I don't want to," I whine.

"Too bad, when's the date for this?" She asks.

"On Saturday," I mutter.

"5 days!? Girl, this might be your last week of freedom, so let's go enjoy it!" She drags me from the bench and brings me to my car.

"Why not your car?" I ask opening my door.

"Because yours is fancier," she shrugs.

"Of course, so where we going?" I ask.

"I don't know, where do mafia's go when they party?" She asks.

"Uhh..let me call Pierce," I say and take my phone out.

"Hello?" He says through the phone.

"Pierce, I have a question."

"Ok? What is it?"

"Where do you go when you party? Like that club for the mafia is a good one?"

"What? Why?"

"You really need to ask?"

"Yes, now tell me."

"Me and Kelly want to go out to party, I want to know where the mafia club that you go to is."

"The Gemini Club, it's on 74th ave down the alley."

"Alright, thanks bye."

"Bye."
