PIPER

A hand shakes me awake, I look up to see Pierce, he points to the front and theres the doctor. I jump up and go to the doctor.

"How is she?" I ask nervously as I stand beside Pansy.

"We got the bullet out safely, shes okay but is napping right now," she says.

"Can we see her?" Pierce asks and the doctor nods.

Before I go with them I go to Theo and wake him up.

"I'm going to see my mom, do you want to come?"

"No, it's okay I'll wait here," he smiles and I go with the doctor.

I see my mom sleeping, needles stuck in her arms. Tears start to fill my eyes. The three of us stand around her bed, she slowly opens her eyes and we smile.

"Mom?" I ask.

"Are you okay?" Pierce asks her as he holds her other hand.

She doesn't say anything, she just nods.

(few days later)

I say bye to Theo before leaving the house, today was the day mom gets released from the hospital, I pick up Pierce and Pansy and we make our way to the hospital.

"Shit," I say under my breath as I see a police car a few cars ahead of us.

"Put the windows up," I say and they do that.

I tap my hand on the wheel as I wait for the light to turn green. As soon as it turns green I go the other way to the hospital, this one was meant for the mafias anyways, so it was kept away from the main area of the city.

We get out of my car and go upstairs.

"We're here to pick up Mrs. Parkinson, where is she?" I ask the receptionist.

"She already got picked up," she says and leaves.

"What? Who picked her up?" I ask confused.

"She doesn't have any friends, dad kept her away from everyon- he took her," Pierce says then the three of us run out.

We make our way to the car and I speed the car to the house, we rush inside the house with our guns pointed. We walk upstairs and we see our father standing beside our mother who was tied down onto a chair with her mouth duck taped shut.

"Took you three long enough," he smirks.

"Let her go," I say sternly.

"Oh come on, where's the fun in that?" He laughs.

"She's your wife! Let her go!" I yell stepping closer to him but stop when he pulls out a knife and holds it to her throat.

"Come any closer and I slash her throat," he threatens.

"You wouldn't dare," I say through gritted teeth.

"Oh?" He says as he slowly digs the tip of the blade into her neck, a drop of blood dripping out.

"Stop! Let her go, and we won't touch you either," Pierce says.

"That's the thing, I don't believe you. If I were to let her go, it's certain that you three would come back another day to kill me," he says sitting down beside mom.

"We won't, we won't step a foot near you again only if you let her go," I plead.

"No, I think I'll pass on that deal," he smirks then everything goes black.
