"Kayla?" I ask.

"Yeah? What's up?" She asks through the phone.

"Can you meet me? At 54th street?" I ask.

"Uh yeah sure, why?"

"Just want to hang out, I have a question," I say.

"Ask away," she says.

"What do you think of my sister?" I ask.

"Pansy? Uh, I like her. She's sweet, and caring, why?"

"Do you have any other feelings for her?"

"Other feelings?"

"Yeah, like romantically or sexually," I say.

"Uh what?" She chokes on her drink and coughs.

"So?" I ask.

"I mean yea-yeah, but I don't know about her," she chuckles.

"Alright, so meet me?"

"Yeah, see you," she says then hangs up the phone.

"Yes!" I yell.

"What is up with you and yelling?" Theo asks from the kitchen. I smile and run to him.

"Guess what?"

"What?" He asks putting the dishes away.

"Kayla likes Pansy!" I say as I jump up and down.

"Okay?"

"Oh yeah, you didn't hear the first half of our conversation yesterday. Pansy likes Kayl- scratch that! She loves her!"

"You're like a little kid who just got 78 presents for her birthday," he laughs.

"Leave me alone, this is a big thing," I say as lightly punch his shoulder.

"So you're going to the park?" He asks.

"Yeah, want to come?"

"Sure, let me change," he says and I take in what he was wearing.

He was just wearing grey sweatpants with no shirt and his chains. He runs upstairs and I call Pansy.

"What's up?" She asks through the phone.

"Can you meet me? 54th street, okay? See you there, bye!" I say then hang up, not giving her a chance to respond.

"If you don't let her talk she'll get suspicious," Theo says.

"Let her," I say and get the car keys and we leave the house.

(at the park)

I pull up and park the car, already seeing Kayla and Pansy there, talking on the bench.

"Shit, they're here earlier then I thought they would be," I say then get out of the car, Theodore following behind me.

"Why is Kayla here?"

"Why is Pansy here?"

They both ask at the same time looking at me while pointing to each other.

"Funny coincidence," I laugh.

"You two both like each other, so talk about that!" I say and both of their eyes widen as they look at each other.

I smile before I grab Theo and run to the car, we sit and I watch as they start talking.

"I can't hear them," I groan.

"What was that?" Theo asks laughing.

"What was what?" I ask.

"Over there, 'you two like each other so talk about that!', you couldn't be more subtle?"

"Subtle? That's boring, and look! They're getting along!" I say pointing at them.

My phone rings, snapping my eyes away from them, I look and see Pierce is calling. I click decline and go back to looking at Pansy and Kayla.

My phone rings again and I decline it once again, but it rings for the third time so I answer it.

"What?" I ask.

"Where are you?" Pierce asks, I take in that he sounds worried.

"I'm with Theo, why?"

"Mom got shot."
