You could not fall asleep because of worrying about your future. You felt so confident until you got a taste of your new life. It is soul crushing for you.

No matter how many times you turned in your bed, you could not find a way to feel at least some comfortableness in your new home. It only makes you feel like you are slowly drowning in your own sulk, which was just your worn-out mattress.

"What an irony," you murmur to yourself staring at night's darkness, looking for a glimpse of gleam light anywhere.

You are working with the people you hated the most.

After laying for an hour and staring at ceiling which you could not see because of the darkness, you decide to get up. You clumsily search for the lantern and lighter on your counter. After a few minutes you have lighted it up and now are staring at its illuminating light.

You know you won't sleep tonight, so why not explore a little bit? There might be some nice place somewhere which you could make your little sacred runaway world.

Your bare feet touch the cold wooden floor and a cold shiver runs through your whole body. You are only wearing a nightgown, so it feels chilly to be outside of your bed's blanket warmth. Your tangled hair gracefully falls on your shoulders and in front of your collarbone. You put it behind your ears. You aren't used to walking around with it roaming all around your face. You always tie it, mainly because you got used to because of work. This time you don't bother to tie it; you are only going to walk around for a little. You also note that you shouldn't carelessly walk around in foreign place for too long.

You pick up the lantern and slowly exit your room. Every time your feet press against the floor, you are reminded of your loneliness here. After walking through the whole hallway full of closed doors on each side, your feet get used to the cold. It is the same for your angst; you will get used to this place, maybe even learn to love it. You turn and see another long corridor. You menacingly look at it.

This time you walk through it little bit faster with dopamine shaking your heart. You stop at the end and think for a second. You giggle like little child and turn to the third corridor. You aren't sure where you exactly are, but you are enjoying the thrill.

There seems to be no isolated places for you to spend time at to call It your sacred world.

You don't realize that now there is a room from which you can see light escaping through the small crack in the door.

You are interested who could be up at this late hour, but you decide to go back. You might get scolded for sneaking around. It is your first day here, so you shouldn't be so bold.

"Hey! If it is cadet Blouse again, I swear to god I am going to feed you to titans," Levi shouts out of the room. Your heart starts to beat like crazy and you hold your breath. How did he even hear you? He exits the room and now the light is escaping way further, exposing your bare feet. He looks at your shadow for a second and exhales deeply. "Why are you here?"

"I couldn't fall asleep," you try to explain.

"So, you thought that taking a tour around everyone's bedrooms will help you?" he sarcastically asks you.

"I am not quite sure myself," you look down and walk out of the dark. He stares at you for a second and looks away to the ground.

"You shouldn't walk around in such garments," he awkwardly says to you. You frown.

"Why? It's just you. Besides everyone is sleeping at this hour, I didn't think about seeing anyone," you try to clarify yourself idly standing in the middle of the hallway.
