Damon's POV
Rage was running through my veins as I saw Parker sat in the kitchen with our mum.I wanted to let of steam and beat him to a pulp for daring to take my mate from me.
Parker was about to say something probably one of his cooky funny remarks that he does to piss me of ,but I stopped him by grabbing his neck.
He furrowed his eyebrows together clearly confused at my outburst.my mother was gasping at my actions screaming at me to release my brother at once.
Hearing hurried steps coming down the stairs must be none other than our dad rushing to the aid of why his mate in distress and what all this commotion is about.
My dad had yanked me from the grasp on my brothers neck and pulled me to face him leaving Parker coughing catching his breath from me strangling him.
By the expression of my dad my eyes were probably bright purple .I barley ever lose control so he was confused as well like the rest of my family were.
My dad spoke up
"Breath take back control "
Once I'd gained back control he released his grasp on my shoulder . Looking at me like I owed him an explanation for my outburst of anger towards my brother.
"TOOK MY MATE" I growled at them all directing it towards Parker
Parker looked confused before realisation struck him
Our mum and dad looked between us very confused as they were unaware of what I meant
Parker looked at me and asked
" She's your mate"
I growled showing him I meant yes
I could see he was deep in thought about something. He snapped out of it when he spoke
" I didn't know she was ,I'm sorry man I wouldn't have took her away from you if I would have know" he spoke sincerely
" if it makes you feel any better I only see her as a friend I don't fancy your mate, so no need to become an jealous protective alpha "he teased
I let out a small grumble in my chest to show how I don't appreciate his remarks
He put his hands up in a sign of surrendering and walked out of the kitchen up to his room ,leaving me with my mum and dad .oh shit I have a lot of explaining on do
