Their little light

Chapter 19

Waking up my eyes adjusted to the bright light to discover myself in a bed. It looked like some sort of a hospital.

I was covered in wires linking me up to many different machines one that I recognised being a heart monitor.

My head was filled with all the events that had happened, but i felt so calm. I felt at peace. Like I had finally learned something more to myself than just being the girl who looks fine to the passing eye ,but on the inside deep down is a broken wreck who struggles to get through each day.

I felt a fight and determination inside myself that has been lost for many years. I wanted to know more about this supernatural mysteries world ,that has been living among us for years right under our noses ,we had no clue about. My heart was telling me that I belonged here and not the odd one out.

Hearing footsteps banging getting closer to where I was the door to the room flung open revealing Damon and Parker panting to catch there breaths .They look incredibly sweaty, like they had just done a full work out

They relaxed there tensed stances and there eyes held less worry in them as hey looked at me

Both of them walked closer to the bed I was lying on and looked at me to check if I was going to be in my usual panicked anxious state

Damon sat on the bed and pulled me into his arms .sparks erupted all through out my body leaving me all tingly and calm ,I could never get use to that euphoric feeling.

"How are you feeling" Parker asked me as he sat at the end of the bed

I whispered out meekly "I feel fine I guess"

I guess the confidence I had worn of or disappeared into thin air

Look I was human or so I thought ,after all I guess I wasn't entirely use to every I had discover over the past 24 hours .but I wasn't stressing as much as I thought I would be about it all. This is  shock to me.

After moments of silence I plucked up the courage to ask them something that the mood goddess told me

"Umm do you know someone called peal woods "

Both there eyes held curiosity in my sudden question

"Why's the sudden curiosity in knowing who she is my flower ,how do u know of her " Parker spoke with a lace of unclarity in his voice

"She told me to see her " I rushed out

"Who" Damon spoke up

"The moon goddess"

I knew I sounded crazy saying some weird name to them ,but I wasn't lying so I hope they could tell that .however there reaction was completely different to what I was expecting they just had gaping looks on there faces as they looked at each other.

"We will take you to see Pearl woods then " Damon said without any hesitation

Didn't they think I was crazy for asking to meet a stranger

Slowly Damon helped me stand up out of the bed. It took me a few seconds to get my footing right and stand up properly. My legs felt tired and a bit stiff maybe I was feeling a little bit drained my small legs don't usually have to do much by being normally lying in my bed most of the time.

It reminds me of all the movie nights me and my brother would have every Friday night sat in our fluffy pyjamas eating chocolate and olives. I know it's a odd combination but it was mine and my brothers favourite snack to eat when we were younger.

My brother .Nicolas. would he be looking for me , I should have gone home as soon as I woke up the first time to tell him I'm ok  ,he must be worried sick about me .he's been so overprotective of me he can't even stand the thought for me to go to school without him being there let alone mysterious disappear for as long as I have.

I'll have to go home or at least call him once I've seen this person called Pearl .he's the only family I have left I can't lose him too.

I feel this need and want inside my heart telling me I need to meet her

Walking down outside through the forest was bringing back the memories that had happened in the past day of running away from vampires and fighting some wolves that are referred to as rogues.

Getting further into the forest it was getting darker as little light could pass through the trees Damon and Parker got closer to my sides ,squashing me in between them however it did make me feel better ,as I've never been a fan of the dark.

We just walked in silence the whole time neither of us knowing what to say to one another. I'm naturally a very shy quiet person anyway so the silence didn't bother me. I just found it quite comforting.

Ahead caught my attention as fireflies started to glow up lighting up our surroundings creating a pathway. It was beautiful and fascinating to watch.

Running ahead of Parker and Damon they watched me with adoration on there faces at my childish behaviour rushing to where the fireflies led to.

I quickly had approached a small old cottage. It was made of old grey stone and had vines and plants coving the cottage.now I was starting to question if any one lived her cause there appears to be no sign of life other than the flowers swarming it.

Walking cautiously up to the door I held my hand up to the door building up the courage to knock when the door flew open sending my flying back form shock landing on my bum.

Lifting my head up to see who had opened the door was a old lady. She had black curly hair with little grey and white strips running through it with a pair of glasses on the top of her head ,she wore flip flops and grey trousers and a white v neck top with a chunky knitted brown cardigan that reached below her knees with it. Her fingers were filled with gold rings that complimented her caramel skin beautifully. What stood out the most in her outfit was he beautiful necklace that had something wrote on it that I couldn't quite read.

I don't know what that means

Looking into her eyes. They were dark pink. That can't be possible.

She looked at me with a big wide toothy smile on her face ,as she looked at me still spitting on the floor from when I had fallen over like an idiot. What a great first impression Rosabella.
