Damon's POV

Letting my mate go with my mother might have been a mistake.I just hope she doesn't terror my mate and scare her of ,cause she can be a bit much sometimes

I would love to just have my mate in my arms still right where she belongs ,with me. But I can't let her know to much yet ,Parker did mind link me saying he has some suspicions but we shouldn't say them in front of her yet until she's ready and that his suspicions may not be right either.

Once my mother and my Rosabella had left my office Parker began to explain his theory.

"When your mate told me her name is Rosabella I thought of the of the star light prophecy"

I only really knew bits and pieces of the prophecy as I never really did pay much interest in stories relating myths ,but Parker was obsessed with them ,as our uncle when we were little use to tell us many all the time as bed time stories.

"And what does this prophecy have anything to do with my mate"I growled frustratedly at him

"I will get to that part in a moment dumb ass let me explain first" growling louder as I don't appreciate his tone what so ever he still needs to know who's alpha here.

"The star light prophecy has been roughly translated through out the years stating that a being who holds extreme powers holds the balance in the worlds creatures including supernaturals."

"No one is that powerful " I stated

He corrected me "no up until now no one has been that powerful, so who ever this powerful being is will be hunted by some who want that power to themselves, or who see it as a threat and wants to get rid of them"

"This has nothing to do with the vampire attack today or my mate" he is just wasting my time filling my head with this nonsense prophecy's my uncle told him

"I said I was getting to that part" he growled back at me losing his temper

"so a few years back when uncle John went on a trip to the ruins of a old castle ,once lived in by what was rumoured to be angels ,he came across some old books with some prophecy's wrote in .He brought them back to his study ,analysed and tried to translate them himself ,as he found that they seemed to be the original books the prophecy was written in"

"Why am I just finding out now that with have we have antique prophecy books in our pack house now, people could want them putting our pack in danger" how fucking irresponsible could Parker and my uncle get

"I wasn't gonna be the one to tell you ,when you would react like that . Besides it wasn't my place to tell your dumb ass , it was uncle johns and he just seemed to trust me more than u " he grinned cockily at me. He was just trying to push my wolf over the edge

"But this wasn't the point I was trying to make. I was gonna tell you that when uncle John was translating it .He asked me to try help him translate a word for him, as he knows I can sort of speak Greek from the lessons I've been having ,little did he know I didn't actually turn up to the lessons " he laughed getting slightly of track

"I still tried to help him anyway and neither of us could translate the word so we sort of knew that it must be a name of a person if we couldn't translate it"

"What was the name" I butted in quickly

"Well once we translated it all one of the sentences in it said the light to our World ,would be our saviour and end all the darkness , the name Rosabella will be remembered"

"How do you know it's my rosabella"

"That's why it's a suspicion ,cause we don't know if it's true so it's just a theory. It's just that I thought it linked to what the vampire said to me in the forest, as he asked for me to give him the light whilst looking at rosabella"

"If the vampires want her they will have to go through me " my wolf spoke for me

"Woahhh calm down yeah I'm fully aware that that we won't let the blood suckers near her, something we can actually agree on" he mumbled the last part to himself

"So I think we should just keep the prophecy in mind for now and just see if she does show any signs of being the Rosabella the prophecy Is on about , cause it just could be some giant coincidence that they both have the name Rosabella right?" He sort of sounded less assure of himself as he finished speaking

Suddenly someone barged into my office. Growling out of the disrespect Levi has for just barging in on a private conversation.

Seeing his panicked state I asked him what was the meaning of his interruption

"There are rouges outside the pack house alpha "

Just great ,exactly what we needed now with my mate around

Oh shit ,is she safe

Marching out my office heading right towards the problem with Parker hot on my heals.

Coming near the lake I'm stunned beyond belief with what I can see.

She is the Rosabella in prophecy
