Parker's POV
I was Driving back home to the pack house after dropping Rosabella home. My curiosity had gotten the better of me as I had no idea what had gotten into my brother today
He was normally the serious uptight grump ,who had everything normally under control. Today he looked like a mess who just left his wolf go in a rampage. What the hell had gotten under his skin , was he on his man period.
The last time I'd asked him that I ended up in the pack hospital for 2 days with 3 broken ribs. Wasn't a fun time, leant my lesson not to test his patients to much.
Pulling up into the drive I got out walking inside the house to be greeted by my mum
"Parker sweetie there you are what took you so long to get home from school was you causing trouble ,I swear young man if u was I "
I cut her of not wanting to hear for the fiftieth time this week her parenting speech of how she didn't raise me to be a trouble maker and how she wants me to be more like my stupid boring brother and that I should be a role model setting a good example for the pack cause I'm apart of the alpha family
"No I was just dropping a friend home "
I could see the mischievous look on her face .people do say we are very alike .
"So who's this friend of yours Parker ,cause never thought I'd see the day Parker Evans would put someone else before himself and go out of his way to do something for others " she says while gasping acting so astonished
Rolling my eyes at her I walked over to the kitchen where she was stood
"Well I'm a changed man mother " emphasising the changed part
She wasn't having none of it and raised her eyebrow at me
"Is it a girl "
I felt my eyes bulge out my head. How did she know that. She just smirked at me acting like she caught me red handed.
" so it is a girl, so who's the lucky girl that's caught the eye of my son" she starts
Fan girling now
I quickly rushed to shut her up from suspecting stuff
"Noooo it's not like that ,she's my friend "
My mum looked into my eyes trying to detect a lie or any sign that I'm not telling her the full truth.she stopped her interrogation look and smiled softly at me
"I can tell that who ever this girl is to you that she's very special to you dear ,I've not seen your protective side of you ever "
Maybe she was right ,what had rosabella brought out of me
Hearing someone walking down the stairs grabbed mine and my mums attention turning to be met with a furious Damon marching over to us
