Parker's POV

Seeing her hurt made my blood boil

But him hurting her that sent me over the edge

My wolf surfaced feeling very protective over her ,someone so precious needs to be protected and that's exactly what I was gonna do. Protect her.

When Pearl was explaining how my flower has a protector ,that will feel a bond with her. I had a feeling deep in my heart that it was me ,she had rocked my world and turned my views on life around ,in only the short amount of time I've known her.

Her smile alone could brighten up the room and her laugh was the most beautiful sound, it brightens up my day seeing her happy gave me the motivation and determination to make sure she never feels anything but happiness in her life .she was to precious for this world

My life before consisted of flunking of class ,drinking in some random bars hours away from home ,to turn up days later with no explanation of to where I had been.

My father use to tell me how I was wasting my life away with my destructive behaviour and being a let down to my family name.

The family name he was so proud of.

Be more like your brother was all I ever heard of him ,he wants me to be a leader ,a role model ,to stop being so selfish and get my act together.

My mother was more concerned for my well being and safety ,that her son had gone of the rails.

I've found a new purpose and meaning to protect my flower and make everyone change there opinion on me to no longer see me as a troublesome boy but and man who fighters for the ones he cares for.

I want to prove something to everyone and myself and my flower that she can rely on me for anything.

Seeing the pain in her face hurt my heart

She should never feel pain as long as I'm here to protect her.

Pulling her off him and behind me my wolf was feeling more calm about her safety now ,as we wouldn't let the fucking idiot hurt her.

I had clearly set his wolf of now by the looks and growls he was releasing, but I couldn't give a flying fuck about that cause he just hurt my flower. It didn't matter to me in this moment that he was my alpha and that challenging an alpha, especially taking his mate out his arms isn't the smartest idea ,but her safety must come first before what ever makes him happy.

I could see out of the corner of my eye Pearl rushing my flower out so she didn't have to witness this.

Damon's eyes was locked on his mate being rushed out of the house

The flicker of sadness was in his eyes no longer having her in his eye sight but quickly changed back to anger as he averted his eyes back to mine.

Pearl was in front of me in a split second whispering some spell that made Damon freeze in his actions ,which I could tell he was going to hit me.

He was frozen like a statue his body was stiff but his face was still showing how fuming he was with me and if Pearl didn't put an spell on him a fight would have gone down ,probably not ending well.

Growls was being released from his chest as his breathing was heavy trying to calm himself down.

To be fair it was an amusing sight to see him all worked up over this ,cause he is normal the calm and composed brother with his act of this strong tough alpha put together perfectly. Now it was crumbling ,the Damon I once knew ,the hot headed ,problem ,irrational actions and always angry wanting to hit anything in sight and cause a fight with anyone who he dreamed a problem.
