Smut warning! (⌐■_)

After our hike back, Nate offered me the shower first, and I was happy to oblige. The warm shower heated my chilly bones, and I relaxed in the steam and mist, letting the water run over my head. My drenched curls covered my vision as I tried to figure out this conundrum I stumbled into.

I like Nate...but I like Theo too... I like both of them. Just why?

As stupid as this sounded, I was completely dumbstruck by the idea that I had actually done this. I like two people, is that even fucking possible? I mean of course it's possible, but why did I have to go and do it. Banging my head against the tiled shower, I moaned in utter anguish.

How did this happen? Why... just why am I so stupid?

Snickering echoed from River as he emerged from his shadowy realm. I rolled my eyes and turned my head under the water, hiding from his commentary. I wasn't in the mood for him right now but I wanted the incessant laughter to stop.

'Do you want to get blocked again?' I threatened. I had become an expert over the past week. Just thinking of complete silence and in a matter of seconds, the irritating banter disappears from my mind.

'Do it, I'll just keep coming back. You act like that really bothers me when I've literally spent the past twelve years on block! An hour or so ain't shit to me.' River paced back and forth, taunting me to follow through with my bluff.

Drying myself off, I hated that River had a valid point. He was going to come back to troll me every time and it honestly was terrible knowing that. It was miserable knowing River and I would always be at some kind of odds with each other.

Was it always going to be like this?

Trudging out of the bathroom, I kept pulling up a pair of joggers Nate had lent me. All of my clothes were in the wash, covered in mud stains from the fall I took while hiking back to the cabin.

"You good?" Nate popped his head into the hallway, a worried look on his face as he approached.

"Yeah..no, yeah I'm good. Just have a headache, that's all."  Nate smiled, walking past me towards the bathroom. He left a sizable gap between us, practically hugging the wall as he walked through.

"Pizza is here by the way, help yourself. I'm just gonna shower real quick." He closed the door, and I was left alone in the hallway.

That's strange... Nate didn't come onto me.

Not that I was asking for it but it was clearly evident in his mannerisms just now and from this afternoon that he hadn't tried to steal a kiss from me or pin me against a tree to grope me... Something was definitely up here, with Nate acting so cordially. He was acting like a gentleman... Maybe he was sick?

'Who fucking cares Remy? That guy is just baiting you. Just grab his keys and leave him.' River ordered.

Interesting, I was surprised I haven't rolled my eyes into another dimension yet. 'River, just stop it.' He was pushing ever closer to my breaking point and I was over his act.

The smell of cheese pizza answered the growing pains in my stomach as I mulled over to the kitchen counter. Ignoring the fact someone had delivered this pizza to the middle of nowhere or that Nate had demolished half the box. I bit into the delectable pizza, satisfied enough to soothe the rumbles in my tummy.
