Soon, night fell. “We should make camp,” he said

“No it’s fine, we need to get to the beanstalk”

“We have plenty of time, love” Oh here come the ‘loves’. Oh how I’ve missed them. If only the context was different.

“At least let’s find a cave or something before we make camp”

“Fine, you win” he smiled. Just like Killian. I miss the real Killian. I miss him more than anything. I miss his touch, his words, his kiss. I miss everything about him.

As we walked through the woods I heard a sound. The trees bent back. “What was that?” I asked

“Something that does not sound good” he replied.

I heard a faint roar, then a thumping in the ground. What is it? Giants? No… no not-

“Run!” he shouted

Ogres.

He ran for the hills. But it caught up to us and we were stuck in a clearing. Not good. “Come on, this way!” I shouted. And I ran. I ran out of the clearing and deep into the woods. “Whew, we made it!” I smiled.

But he wasn’t there. Hook was gone.
