I ran back as fast as I could. I got back to the clearing. Oh no… his foot is caught on a vine. The ogre came up to him and roared in his face. Oh no he doesn’t.
I ran in front of Hook and pulled his foot out of the vine. “BACK. AWAY. FROM. HIM” I shouted in it’s face.
Then the ogre grabbed me in his fist. God why does some giant or monster always grab me in their hand? “Agh! Let me go!” Who am I kidding? Do ogres even speak English? Even if they did as if it would just let me go.
Then suddenly the ogre fell down on the ground. As I got out of his grasp, I saw ropes around his legs. “We don’t have much time before they rip!” Hook shouted.
“We need a stick or an arrow or something!”
“GET OUT OF THE WAY” I heard somebody call from behind me. We did as they said and the masked figure shot an arrow in the ogre’s eye.
“Thank you”
“Don’t mention it,” They said as they pulled their mask off.
“People call me Mulan”
“Oh my god! Mulan it’s you!” I ran up to her and hugged her. “I thought I’d never see you again” Crap. I forgot this isn’t my world. She has never met me.
“Umm…okay” She said awkwardly
“Sorry, I uh, thought you were somebody else” I said as stopped hugging her.
There was an awkward silence for a few minutes.
“Well, we are grateful for the assistance” Hook cut in.
“Next time I won’t be there. You two need to be more careful”
We nodded. “Well, enjoy your journey wherever you’re going”
She said as she walked into the distance.
“Old friend” I said.
“Ah”
“Now let’s find that cave”
