Chapter 85 - Drinks

OUTSIDE THE DANCE VENUE

Jimin ran towards Tae when he saw him coming out with Jungkook from the venue. 

"Taetae! You were so great! I loved it, we all did! And you looked so hot there on stage..." Jimin called out and threw his arms around Tae, pulling him into a hug. 

Tae hugged Jimin back. 

"I'm glad you liked it, Chim!" Tae said, laughing at Jimin's enthusiasm. 

Haechan joined in and put his arms around both of them.

"You were amazing, Tae!" he said.

Tae smiled. 

"Thanks, both of you! Hey, how did you manage to bring all these people to a dance show?" he said, looking at Hoseok, Yoongi, Jin and Namjoon, who stood there watching them amused.

They came closer and all of them politely expressed their appreciation for the performance. Tae bowed to them.

"Thank you all for coming, I am honored. I repeat now Jungkook's invitation to come to our place for drinks, it is not far from here." Tae said, releasing himself from his friends.

Hoseok took Jimin's hand and pulled him to his side.

"That's enough of hugging other men, baby." he said, with a hint of seriousness behind his smile.

Jimin hit his shoulder lightly in mock irritation. 

"Just shut up, Hoseok, he's my best friend!" Jimin chuckled.

Hoseok put an arm around Jimin's shoulders possessively. 

"But you are my boyfriend." he whispered.

The group began walking towards Tae's and Jungkook's place. 

Hoseok kept his arm around Jimin's shoulders while walking. Jimin felt warm inside from hearing Hoseok's words and feeling Hoseok near him. He leaned his head on Hoseok's shoulder. 

"I love you, Hoseok, do you know that?" he said spontaneously. 

"And I love you, baby, you know I do. Fuck it's nice just to walk here with you next to me. Reminds of that first time I walked you home... do you remember?" Hoseok said and kissed Jimin's head.

"That night when you kissed me under a streetlamp without saying a word first? Yeah, I remember. That was sort of the weirdest thing, Hoseok, it's not easy to forget." Jimin said.

"But you kissed me back, baby." Hoseok said, looking smug. 

"Of course I did, I loved it, Hoseok, but..." Jimin said, sounding a bit sad suddenly.

Hoseok stopped to look at him.

"What, baby? Oh, you don't have to say, I know, Jimin, I know. I am really, really sorry for ignoring you the day after. I tried to erase from my mind what happened that night, to forget all about you. But you know, I looked at you in secret that day and you looked so fucking amazing, baby, it almost killed me." Hoseok said.

"Thanks for the late compliment." Jimin said with a smile. 

It felt good to hear that his efforts that morning months ago had not been in vain. They continued walking together, now smiling and feeling happy in each other's company. 

Jin and Namjoon walked hand in hand, so did Yoongi and Haechan. It seemed that the music and the dancing had spread a romantic mood to everybody.

"Are you okay with going to their place, Jinnie? Do you feel tired?" Namjoon asked. 

"I'm fine, Joonie, as long as you are there with me!" Jin said, smiling and pressing Namjoon's hand.

Jungkook held Tae close with an arm around his waist, whispering sweet words in his ear about what he would have wanted to do with him if they hadn't invited guests.

Tae just smiled. He was the happiest man today. The performance had been a success, Jungkook came to watch after all, and Jimin came with all these people just for his sake. Even though he loved the idea of doing what Jungkook was whispering about, he also thought it was a great idea to celebrate.

The other things could wait a few hours.

AT TAE'S AND JUNGKOOK'S PLACE

Jungkook poured them all some sparkling wine and made a toast.

"To the most handsome boyfriend and an awesome dancer, my Taehyung!" he said. 

"Don't know about most handsome boyfriend, but definitely an awesome dancer!" Yoongi mumbled, giving Haechan an appreciative glance while raising his glass to Tae.

"To Taetae!" Jimin said.

"To Taehyung!" said Jin and Namjoon politely.

Everyone drank for Tae.

"Thanks a lot everyone!" Tae beamed, while hooking his arm with Jungkook's.

"Okay, so sit down anywhere, it's not a big place, but the rug is soft so you'll be okay I think. I'll get us some snacks." Jungkook said, gesturing vaguely towards the sofa and the sofa table which stood on a grey rug. 

Jin and Namjoon sat down close together on the sofa, Namjoon holding his arm around Jin's shoulders. 

Yoongi took a seat on the sofa as well and pulled Haechan onto his lap. Haechan giggled, but let Yoongi keep him there with his arms around Haechan's waist. 

Jimin and Hoseok sat down on the rug. 

Hoseok parted his legs and made Jimin sit between them, so he could lean onto Hoesok's chest while Hoseok held him tight. Hoseok softly kissed Jimin's neck. 

"Hoseok, not here!" Jimin said, blushing.

"Eh, Jimin-ah, we sort of made out in the school cafeteria the other day, and now you're blushing from a kiss on the neck in private company? You really need to sort out your priorities..." Hoseok chuckled, shaking his head sarcastically. 

"We don't mind, Jimin, just go ahead!" Tae said, smiling at Jimin. 

Jimin blushed even harder. 

In reality he didn't want Hoseok to kiss his neck like that, because it awoke his desires a bit too much, and it wasn't the right place for that. 

But he couldn't tell them that, of course.

He just gave Hoseok a glance that he hoped would make him understand.

Hoseok took Jimin's hand and stroked it gently instead. It was just impossible for him not to touch Jimin, so if he wasn't allowed to kiss him he had to do something else. 

It was nice to be at Tae's and Jungkook's place together as a couple like this, but Hoseok also longed to be alone with Jimin.

He thought of the preparations he had made at home and smiled to himself.
