i was sitting in class bored out of my mind when a knock came at the door,and there stood regina,looking quite cocky may i add.

"pardon me for disturbing,but i'd like to borrow miss avery for a bit" i sprung up at the mention of my name and getting out of this classroom

"sure thing madam mayor" mrs.martin nodded,i gathered my books and followed regina out the class and out the school,jogging a little to keep up with her very fast pace

"where are we going?" i ask her

"first we need to pick up henry,then i have news for you two" she tells me

"carbon dioxide and water synthesize-" regina clears her throat once we reach henry's class outside,cutting mary margaret off, she walks over to us

"may i speak with my son?" regina asked,more like demanded

"we're in the middle of a lesson,is it important?"

"do you think i'd be here if it wasn't?" regina snapped and we walked over to henry,me muttering an apology to her as i pass

"henry,avery i have some bad news,the women who you brought here,shes been arrested,she broke into dr.hoppers office and stole his files,shes a con women,shes trying to learn about us in order to take advantage of us.thats why shes sticking around.i'm sorry" she said but she sounded anything but

"no you're not" henry said voicing my thoughts

"i know you think other wise but all i'm doing is trying to protect you two this is gonna be good for us you'll see,things will be better" the bell rings interrupting our convo

"i gotta get to class" henry said walking away,she turned to me "i'm sorry avery"

i shook my head "no problem,its ok,i'll make sure to keep an eye on him more often" she nodded and i walked back to my class.

it was after school and i was walking outside when i felt a hand tug me,and jerk me forward,it was no surprise when i saw henry and mary margaret was with him

"where are we going?" i ask again because seriously,i was getting tired of being dragged around today.

"we're going to bail my mom out of jail" my eyes widen "what?! you're okay with this?" i turn to mary margaret

"well-i'm here to help and its the right thing to do" she tells me and i hesitantly walked with them to the station,once we got to the buildings henry took off in a sprint with us following

"hey!" henry shouted walking towards the cells

"henry? avery? what are you guys doing here?" graham asked

"his mother told them what happened" mary margaret spoke from behind us

"of course she did" emma said "guys,i don't know what she said-"

"you're a genius" henry cut her off

"what?" emma asked

"i know what you were up to,you were gathering intel for operation cobra" henry smiled excitedly

"i'm sorry,i'm a bit lost" graham said with furrowed brows
