Chapter 1: "A Systematic Approach"

"WHAT?!" 

"I'm telling you! Look!"

Tsuki immediately held out her hand, her ring beginning to glow as it transforms into a beautiful, baby pink soul gem with white streaks soaring through the delicate liquid inside.

".. You're a magical girl again?.." Ring stared, tears beginning to form in her eyes. ".. But how?!"

"I-I don't know, I-.. I started going to the interview, everything was going good.. But then I passed our old neighborhood.. I wanted to see our old houses again, at least for the first time in a while, and-.. As soon as I stopped in front of Rei's old place, I.. Started hearing things.. Things that didn't quite make sense, but it was so overwhelming.." Tsuki held her head.

"That's very strange.." Mami said, as she lowered her glass of tea to the table. ".. Where was that note that she gave us a few years ago?.."

"I-I've been keeping it safe!" Ring gasped, wiping her eyes. "L-Let me go and get it!" She said, immediately standing up and sprinting toward her room.

"If we're about to become magical girls again.. Something must be brewing that caught Rei's attention.. A new development of some kind?" Sayaka narrowed her eyes.

"It's been so long, I don't know if I still have it in me to be a magical girl." Tsuki frowned, holding up her soul gem to her eyes. ".. I doubt I could fight like I use to."

"Well.. I know one thing's certain. You cannot be the only magical girl on our team, we have to figure out how to get the rest of our powers back." Mami said, a determined look in her eyes. "I refuse to let Tsuki do this alone."

"We all will have our magic.. Without the consequences of a wish, nor the circumstances that drove us to that point." Ring said, letting out a quiet sigh. ".. I mean.. It's kind of nice.."

"Just remember.. This is happening for a reason. Now.. Something about Akane-chan being so close to your childhood homes triggered a reaction. That's what we'll try first with you, Ring.. As for me, well.." Sayaka began to ponder. ".. I need to go back to the roof of the hospital.."

"I need to visit a highway.." Mami frowned. ".. Ugh, I already don't know if I can do this.." She covered her face.

"H-Hey! Keep in mind guys, this is just speculation. Maybe your magica will be activated by visiting a place where you remember using your magic fondly?" Ring asked, curiously.

"Yeah.. We didn't make our wishes at our childhood homes." Tsuki laughed.

Mami and Sayaka look at each other, blinking a couple of times.

".. Mami! Remember when you showed Madoka, Rei and I that witch fight? You were at your peak in that fight!" Sayaka gasped.

".. Right!" Mami smiled. "So I need to head back to that abandoned building.."

"And I need to visit a warehouse.. I know exactly where to go." Sayaka grinned.

"Hup!-"

A small, white feline would hop onto the railing of a balcony, before repeating the process over, and over again, until it would be at the top of the building now.
