Chapter 2: "The Strangest Experiences"

"It was really nice of your family to have me over, but I have to get going now.. I need to get started on my college prep courses and talk to my mom some, tonight." Homura smiled, as she slowly exited the Kaname Household.

"Aww.. I wish you could have stayed for a little longer!" Madoka laughed. "It would be so cool to finally get to have a slumber party."

"You haven't had any before?"

"Well.. Not really." Madoka scratched the back of her head, smiling shyly. "I never had Sayaka and Hitomi over at the same time because the chaos would be a bit.. Too much for me to handle back then.. And I never really had enough friends to have a proper slumber party to begin with. Tonight I was going to invite Sayaka and Mami, and you, of course!"

"O-Oh!" Homura gasped, blushing a bit. "I.. I would just have to run home really quick and grab my laptop! I can do my prep courses and talk to my mom over a chat of some kind!" She smiled.

"So you can come?!" Madoka gasped.

"Y-Yeah! I'll be back in just a bit!" Homura giggled, adjusting her glasses.

"Thank you so much, Homura-chan! I will see you in a bit then!" Madoka giggled, waving as she would turn to run back into the house.

Homura made her way to her bicycle, immediately hopping on and cruising down the neighborhood block.

"This is so exciting! I haven't stayed over at Kaname-san's house in a while!"

Homura smiled, the wind blowing through her hair.

"Maybe I can finally get the chance to.. Express my feelings?.. N-No, Homura! That would just make things weird! Ugh, why do you always say the most outlandish things?!"

Becoming frustrated with herself, she would sharply turn and careen down an adjacent neighborhood, taking a shortcut toward her apartment.

"Calm down, calm down.. Why don't you just enjoy this moment? Sayaka and Mami are going to be there.. And.. I love them very much! This is going to be fun!"

Slowing to a stop at a stop sign, Homura placed her foot down to keep her balanced, as she waited for the traffic to clear.

"Now, Ciel."

"Yes, Ryu."

Ciel stood at the top of a nearby building, staring down at the city street blow, directly at Homura. She stared at the traffic, before holding out her hand, a book materializing in her grasp. Summoning a quill, she would begin writing.

"Homura Akemi.. Will.. Be struck by debris following a car crash."

She wrote down.

Suddenly, the sounds of horns blaring caught Homura's attention. "Hm?!-" She gasped, as she saw a truck collide with a parked vehicle. Metal splinters apart as the two vehicles collide with a nearby streetlight, sending it and some debris rocketing toward Homura, and her bike.

"O-Oh no!" Homura gasped, unable to move out of the way in time as the large metal shaft strikes her, along with incredibly sharp, metallic pieces. She is slammed into the ground, bouncing her head off of the concrete as the frame of her bike bends underneath the weight of the streetlight. She lays in the middle of the road, wincing in pain as metal fragments stuck into her chest and legs.
