"Think we're getting closer to the witch yet?" Tsuki asked, keeping her warhammer closely tucked to her body, as if she had forgotten how to hold it after a while.
Ring suddenly froze as journals flew overhead, a blue glow emitting from them. They didn't seem to notice them, but it was enough to make Ring shiver in her boots. ".. U-Uh.. Possibly."
"The magic radiating through this labyrinth is immense.." Homura shivered. ".. I.. I think we'll be able to do it.. Surely we can, right?"
".. Or maybe we should just turn around and go back the way we came..?" Ring frowned.
"Come on, guys!" Tsuki raised her free hand into the air, forming a fist. "We are magical girls. This witch has got nothing on us. Come on!" She suddenly took the lead ahead of the group.
"T-Tsuki?" Ring shook her head. ".. I.. I don't know if that's the best decision!"
"We've come all this way, Ring. We might as well finish what we started." Tsuki smiled, placing a hand on Homura's shoulder. "Besides.. We have Homura here. We'll be able to do this."
".. R-Right." Ring nodded, looking at Homura, hope gleaming in her eyes.
As the three continued down the long corridor, as more minions flew overhead. Soon they approach a long, patchwork door with different letters and symbols written all over the door frame.. None of which made sense at all.
".. Well.. Here goes nothing.." Tsuki raised her warhammer, before swinging it into the doors, throwing them open as a wall of mist pours out, washing over the girls as the floor underneath them suddenly started moving forward, pulling the girls further and further into the center of the labyrinth.
A tall figure hovered above them, cackling as it scribbled nonsense onto the walls of the labyrinth, seemingly not paying attention to the girls until the floor suddenly stopped moving, with a loud click.
The large feather that seemed to be the creature's head craned down toward them, as if analyzing them.. Mainly Homura, in particular.
".. E-.. Eaah! Why is it staring at me?!" Homura covered her eyes, crouching down lightly.
"Homura!" Tsuki grunted, not taking into consideration that Homura was a ball of anxiety. She raised her hammer before jumping upward, growling as she brought her hammer toward the stem of the witch's neck!
.. But then suddenly, every stopped.
Homura opened her eyes to find the world around her had turned a shade of blue.. Tsuki was stopped mid-air, Ring was frozen in place, a look of astonishment plastered in her eyes.
