Chapter 14- Even if it isn't real, tonight she's mine

I woke up in Shiro's arms in the middle of the night. I'm thirsty. I slowly crept my way out of his bed, reached out for my phone and used the flashlight to go downstairs and into the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of water, sat on the sofa and looked at my phone contact list.

I wonder if he's awake... I pressed on Ryuu's number. Shit I accidently pressed call instead to text!

"(Y/N)?" He accepted the call before I could reject.

"Shit, Ryuu, I'm so sorry! I was supposed to text you, but pressed call instead."

"Hahaha, it's okay. Is everything alright?"

"Uhh... yeah, yeah."

"Oh okay, so... what's up?"

(Ryuu's POV)

Surprised and happy were an understatement for when I saw that (Y/N) was calling me. At that time of night, as well.

"Oh yeah, I was actually wanting to ask if everything was okay with you?" She said over the phone. I could hear her take a sip of water.

"Oh? I'm okay," I felt myself blushing at the thought that (Y/N) was thinking about me.

"Really?" She muttered, "It's just you seemed a bit upset before you left..."

"So, you were worried about me?" I smirked to myself. I sat by the ledge of my bedroom window and lit a cigarette.

"Of course, I am. I-I care for you, Ryuu. You're like my best friend."

"Upgraded to best friend now?" I blew out the smoke.

"Yeah you are... so you better make the most of your privileges."

"I will, hahaha."

"So, you're okay?"

"Yeah, I... I guess I was just down..."

"You wanna talk about it?"

"Oh, it's really nothing! Really nothing to worry about. I think I was just having a long day. But tomorrow is Friday, so I can just relax after school," I blew into the cigarette.

"Oh, I was thinking maybe we could hang out? But, if you wanna‒"

"Yes! Let's hang out!" I interrupted.

"Hahaha... okay. I do have another detention tomorrow though, are you okay to wait for me, it might take a while..."

"If you want... why don't you come over to my place... I could make us dinner so that it'll be ready by the time you get here."

"Yeah, that'll be great. It's been a while since I came round there anyway."

"Great..."

"So, you'll be like my butler tomorrow, ahaha," she giggled.

"Yeah, I suppose so. Part of the privileges of being your best friend," I chuckled along.

"Hahaha‒ Oh shit, Shiro!" I heard her yelp and then laugh.

"I missed you in bed, cutie! Who're you talking to?" I heard Shiro's voice in the background.

"Oh, it's Ryuu, say hi," she said.

"Yo, Ryuu!" He said,

"Hey," I said bitterly.

"Anyway, I'm gonna take my (Y/N) back to bed. Night, dude!"

"Ahhh! Shiro! Your arms! Hahaha!" I could hear her giggling and noises of shuffling, "Ryuu, I'll see you tomorrow then. Good night!"

"Night, (Y/N)..." And she ended the call.
