April, 24, 1973.

Roger was in the rehearsal room. Soon the band will perform. I heard Freddie practicing his voice from the other room. Roger entered the room. He looked very nervous. "Are you all right, honey?" I asked. Roger nodded. "Sure everything under control, nothing can go wrong." He laughed.

Freddie opened the door. Roger and I gave the last kiss. "Hurry up Roger the audience is getting impatient!"  Freddie shouted. Roger sighed and stroked my shoulder. "See you later darling!" Said Roger.

I saw Brian running down the hall with his Red Special in his arms. It sounds like the audience was going crazy, this was also Queen's fifth performance.  The band performed well and deserved very well. The LPs sold out in a week!

I was allowed to go with a bodyguard to the audience to watch Roger and the boys. They had finally started, Roger was wearing his black / dark blue jacket with gold stripes and a long silver chain with soft cloth pants. Freddie was wearing white slacks with a black waistcoat sewn with a cat on it. Brian was wearing a white suit that his wife gave him. Deaky wore shorts with a green t-shirt, typically John Deacon's dress style, that's why we love him.

They played Liar, Freddie's voice was absolutely magical. The audience members were absolutely delighted.  Roger was beating the drums, his hair was blowing back and forth which gave a great effect.

There were girls in front of me chuckling and whispering, I heard them "Look at Roger, how handsome he looks! I would like to put my lips on his." She said. I chuckled, does she even know Roger's wife is behind her?

I moved closer to the girls to hear what they were talking about, I was just very curious about it. "Tanish, Roger is expecting a baby stupid girl!" Said the friend of hers. The girl who liked Roger spun her eyes. "I don't care, when I see him I'll grab him and kiss him." Said the weird girl. I rubbed my pregnant belly and grinned again. I looked back at Roger, he had taken off his coat so that you could now see his bare belly.

The weird girl screamed. "Roger take me on stage!" She said. The other girl pulled her arm. "Hush!" She said. I was focused on Freddie, his voice got diminished.  The public got angry.  Freddie stopped singing and crouched down. "Give Freddie water immediately!" I screamed, I ran to the rehearsal room and got a bottle of water. I walked over to Freddie and gave it to him, he needed it.

"Boooo!" Everyone shouted.  Freddie panicked. "What am I supposed to do? My voice is gone!" Freddie said. I turned around and got a manager.  Freddie was standing on his feet, and suddenly a plastic beer mug was thrown against his head. "OUCH!" He shouted loud!

Roger got away from his drum kit and got angry, he picked up the microphone. "Who did that, well? Who's so tough to admit it?" Roger was very angry.

Brian took the microphone from Roger's hands. "We rehearsed for months, maybe a year. Freddie tries his best, everyone gets an accident. Who threw the beer cup at Freddie?" Brian said with courage. Roger had run to the dressing room. Deaky put a towel over Freddie's eye.

Me and the band members were in the dressing room. Freddie was crying very hard in the chair. "I can't do it anymore darling, this makes no sense anymore."  Freddie said with a sob.  Deaky put an arm around Freddie's waist. "Fred, you're an icon of everyone! You did a fantastic job! This could happen to anyone!" Deaky said in a calming voice.

The doctor came to see Freddie.  The manager was talking to Roger, "The show has been put on hold for now, only now that Freddie has no voice anymore we have to stop the show and send everyone home." He said.  Brian looked down at the floor in disappointment. "I'll take it over!"  Roger raised his hand.  Deaky looked cheerfully, "We'll take over for you Fred!" He said.
