June 3, 1974.
It was morning, half past ten in the morning. I got up early because of Benjamin, he cried a lot in the morning.
Roger was in the shower and I was doing the dishes. Today we went to a real theme park with the Queen band members. It was going to be fantastic!
Only things weren't going very well for Roger. He has been very quiet lately because he was still disappointed with his parents. He hasn't had any contact with them for two days now.
Roger got out of the shower, I came into the bedroom with a laundry basket under my arm. "I'm looking forward to the amusement park!" Roger said, drying his hair with a towel. "Me too, Benjamin would love it!" I answered, I sorted our underpants and socks and put them neatly in the closet.
Benjamin was in bed playing with his toys. Suddenly I heard him crying from his bedroom. "I'll walk to Benjamin, I'll be right back." I said to Roger, Roger nodded and put on his t-shirt. "It's fine sweetie."
I sighed and grabbed Benjamin from his bed. "What's always wrong with you, mama's little boy?" I whispered as I stroked his light blond hair.
Benjamin continued to cry. It couldn't be his teeth growing back, but it could be the cause.
Roger came dressed and walked into Benjamin's bedroom to see if all was well. "What's wrong?" Roger asked concerned. Benjamin cried on my chest. "He cries all the time. I think it's his teeth, they're growing." I answered.
Roger stretched and yawned. "Well, Antonia, come on down. I'll make you a sandwich and Benjamin a fruit bite." Roger said calmingly.
I gave Roger a kiss on the cheek and walked down to my legs with Benjamin in my arms. Roger followed me.
Benjamin's cry seemed to have disappeared. Our little man was doing better. He was sitting in his dinner chair enjoying his fruit bite.
"What time did the boys get here, Roger?" I asked as I took a sip of my milk. Roger looked at his watch, "Oh in an hour, Brian's daughter is coming by the way!" Roger said brightened up, he seemed to be looking forward to it.
I looked at Benjamin, "Then they can play together." I smiled. "I thought so too, they're really two buddies, Jennifer and Benjamin." Roger said as he rolled up a cigarette.
Benjamin's motor skills were great for his age. He could already feed himself with the spoon. And that for a boy who is one year old.
After two hours:
We drove across the parking lot in Roger's car, but Roger was a bit triggered as there were few spaces available. "It's bloody busy here." Roger said angrily. I looked around to see if I saw a vacant spot myself, but there wasn't. There were cars everywhere.
Still, we got a chance of luck, "Look there!" I pointed to a free spot in the parking lot. "Ah, great baby!" Roger said excitedly. Finally, after a serious fifteen minutes of searching, we finally found a place to park our car.
I took Benjamin out of his child seat from the car. Roger unfolded the buggy. "He had completely fallen asleep." I whispered to Roger. Roger laughed, "Oh poor boy, but we're both going to have a good time! Would the boys be here yet?" Roger asked.
I shrugged, "They're never late." I said. Roger lit a cigarette, "Come on, let's walk. We'll see them for ourselves." Roger stuffed his lighter in his pocket.
We were called out, "Roger and Antonia! Here we are!" Brian shouted loudly. Roger immediately turned, "Guys!" Roger had missed his friends.
"Oh my darlings, we're not late are we?" Freddie said as he gave us a kiss. I shook my head, "Not at all, come on quickly. Benjamin would like to ride the merry-go-round." I laughed. Little Jennifer was also with us, Brian's daughter.
