This was not okay..

George frantically searched around the shelves, knocking over books here and there and tripping over small empty bottles that were once used in experiments for potions and medicines. He wasn't exactly in a hurry, but he just couldn't find what he was looking for.

"It was here.. I could of sworn it was-"
The boys voice trailed off when he stumbled over the wooden floorboards and upon what he was looking for.

A book.

For a customer, actually.

"Here you are, ma'am." The boy waddled over from the back of the store and handed over the book to a woman who stood waiting by the counter.

"Thank you, Deary. I knew I could count on you." The older women gave a weary smile before handing him two small golden coins and putting the book into a small rattan bag that hung loosely upon her shoulders.

George smiled and stuffed the two coins into his pocket, "Well- I hope the book is helpful, Helga." Helga  nodded still holding a soft smile before shuffling her way to the door.

She was a regular customer here and often brought George small goodies like fruits and small candies, they both lived alone so she found comfort with him.

"Thank you again, George. I'll see you tomorrow." She thanked again, before opening the wooden door. "No worries, my bookstore is always open if you need me."

George.

He was a just your average orphan boy who ran an average bookstore in the middle of a average town surrounded by average people wearing average clothes living their average lifestyles.

Just like every other fairytale, his parents died on a shipwreck when he was just 3 years old, the boy himself was on the ship too and fortunately for him he washed up on a close beach owned by the town of Cozen. Luckily, another boy just a bit older than him found him and rescued him from near death.

That boys name was Technoblade.

Even though Techno would never admit it, he had a soft spot for the child ever since he found him that day.

That was why, Techno swore to himself he would help the boy seek revenge for his mother and fathers death.

The reason in both George's and Technos eyes was none other than their ruler, King Jschlatt.

He was corrupt, unloyal and untrustworthy king, instead of looking for what's best for the people he often chose decisions that were best suited for him.

George's parents were close friends of the royals, they often got invited to parties and banquets however after years of this mutual friendship, King Jschlatt turned on them.

The reason why was still unknown to George.

However, in order to protect George the couple tried to escape on a small ship.

It was stormy that night.

The chance of survival was slim.

Too slim.

Techno decided to train George on how to fight back however, unlike Techno, he didn't seem to have the talent to wield a sword or axe so instead he showed him his bow, in hopes he would atleast be able to do something to do with combat.

And..

He was a natural at it.

George trained to become an archer whilst Techno was soon given the title "The Blade" by the unfortunate people who crossed his path. His name became a rumour which caught Jschlatts attention.
