This one is based on a tumbler writing promt that I saw and decided to make Julynn
Flynn's family had just moved into village in the mountains. It was situated between a river, the forest and a field. It was pretty little village and honestly Flynn didn't mind moving here. In the last town they lived in it had been to much at once for her and she never really made any friends or fell in love, but that was about to change.
The girl had just finished unpacking her stuff, when there was a knock at the door. She quickly ran downstairs because she wanted to meet new people.
At the door there were three people, two boys and one girl. One of the boys and the girl were blonde, the other boy was brunette.
"Hey", the brunette one said, "I'm Luke, this is Nick and this is Carrie. We wanted to say welcome to the neighborhood" Flynn smiled, "thanks for the warm welcome"
There was a short silence and Flynn was about to close the door again, then Nick said, "hey, do you maybe wanna hang out with us?" New friends already. "Sure, I'll just write a note for my parents that I'm with you guys", Flynn agreed. When she came back outside after writing the note the trio decides to show her the town.
"And this is the market", Carrie ended. "I love your blue dress by the way", she complimented. "Thanks, it's my favorite. It's really comfortable and... it has pockets, Flynn told her excited showing the pockets. "no way", Carrie squeals.
"Girls and their pockets", Luke chuckles slightly rolling his eyes which makes nick chuckle too. "Guys in this town and chasing cats", Flynn shot back. The she asked, "What is up with that anyways?"
"Well there is this girl in town her name is Julie", Nick started. "and she is really Beautiful", Luke continued. "So beautiful that every guy wants to date her and she didn't like that, so she made a rule", Carrie added. "Whoever comes into her house with the key on that cat's collar will get to date her", Nick told her. "But the cat is to fast for them", Luke chuckled.
"And for you too, don't forget your attempts before caught feelings for each other", Carrie reminded them. "You two are dating'? That's so cool", Flynn exclaimed.
"Thanks", Nick said shyly while Luke yelled out, "Hell yeah it is" Flynn laughed these people were great, maybe she'll finally have friends.
The group talked for an hour more then they got back into their homes which were conveniently right next to each other. When Flynn came in her Father was sitting at the table, he let her know that her mother was still at work and she let him know she was going to check out the garden they had.
The garden was beautiful, in the middle there was an area of moss and flowers grew at the fence. Flynn noticed a cat also sitting at the fence. It was the cat that was chased around the whole day, it didn't look scared though. It was careful nonetheless and kept its distance from Flynn, which she didn't mind.
The girl just laid down on the moss and closed her eyes smiling. "Today was amazing for the first day in the town", she thought out loud. "I already have friends, I think", she continued. "And they are queer too, it's nice to be excepted by people that aren't my parents. This town is great!", she said. At her last sentence, the cat meowed like it was disagreeing.
Flynn chuckled and turned her head in the cat's direction saying, "So it's not that great for you?" The cat surprisingly nodded. Flynn smiled again; it was just funny to her that this cat could kind of understand her. She continued talking about her day and the cat while it didn't come closer also didn't run away. It just laid down in the moss a few feet away from Flynn.
