A queer platonic relationship is a relationship that bends the rules for telling apart romantic relationships from non-romantic relationships. It typically goes beyond what is considered normal or socially acceptable for a platonic relationship but is not romantic in nature or does not fully fit the traditional idea of a romantic relationship.

In Reggie and Bobby's case they cuddle, hold hands and kiss each other (mostly forehead and cheek-kisses though).

This is really short, but I just didn't have motivation.

Luke and Alex had been dating for half a year now, a little longer than Bobby had been in queer-platonic relationship with Reggie, but this band-practice Alex noticed something weird. After playing the couples were cuddling on the couch and floor, when Alex got a weird feeling in his stomach. It was the same he had felt when he saw Luke talking to girls at school jealousy.

Why would I feel that now? he thought. It didn't make sense, he was cuddling with Luke, so of who would he be jealous?

Then it hit him: A while ago he had liked Reggie and it was unexpectedly coming back. Oh no, Alex thought, I still like Luke, don't I? Then he thought about Luke for a bit and it was clear that he still loved him, he loved him a lot. So what now?

Alex just shut it out and kept cuddling with Luke until Reggie and Bobby had left to hang out, then he turned to Luke his smile immediately dropping. "I have to tell you something", he said in a serious tone. Luke frowned and looked at him with puppy eyes, "please don't break up with me. I love you" Alex petted his hair and promised: "I love you too, it's just"

He paused but then confessed, " I like Reggie too" That made Luke break out in laughter. "What, what's so funny?", Alex panicked. "It's nothing babe, just – I was afraid of telling you that too", Luke explained. "You like him too?", Alex asked shocked, "So what now?"

"I think it's best if we tell him and Bobby soon, best case we date Reggie too, worst case we stay friends", Luke told Alex. "Wouldn't the worst case be-", Alex started, but Luke didn't let him finish. "Relax, okay lex? Its Reggie and Bobby, we've been through so much together, they wouldn't leave just because of that", he said. "Okay, okay, you're Right", Alex agreed.

The next day they told Bobby, who said he would be okay with it if Reggie wanted to date them. He also let them know that Reggie and he had been planning a picknick-double-date with them. So that's what they did and where they confessed.

They were at the beach in front of Reggies house sitting on a picknick blanket eating and laughing. Reggie had just eaten a strawberry which made him smile, that beautiful smile. Luke and Alex looked at each other it was time to confess.

"Hey, reg?", Luke asked. "Yeah?", Reggie said looking up at him. "We have to tell you something", Alex added. "We like you", they both blurted out.

Reggie smiled. "Finally! I like you too", he exclaimed, "you're okay with this, right bobbers?" Bobby smiled too, "You know it, reg. Now go get your men" Hearing that Reggie chuckled and kissed Luke then Alex. The kisses were sweet and short, a little too short for the boys liking, but they had plenty of time to get more.

After another hour, they all left holding hands. Alex was holding Luke's hand; Luke was holding Alex's and Reggie's and Reggie was also holding Bobby's hand. They were happy.
