Soulmate AU: Lobby Angst (sad ending)

Don't read this if you don't want to ruin the happy end from the last chapter!

After their first meeting bobby had told his Father he was tired so he could go home, but he actually walked Luke home.

When his parents saw the tattoo had vanished, they let him back in the band which quickly took off. Luke was having a great time, but Depression doesn't go away like that.

Luke still dealed with suicidal thoughts and self-harm which didn't get better when Bobby was kicked out for being gay by his father.

Bobby begged Luke to get a therapist, but Luke refused thinking no one could help him. However, he felt bad for Bobby so he hid what he was doing to himself, so his boyfriend didn't worry. Luke's depression started getting wore again until...

he once again attempted suicide. His parents were out with friends and the band was busy when Luke had a bad episode. He felt so alone and useless, he just couldn't take it anymore.

Luke made a noose out of the sleeves of one of his jackets. Then he attached it to the celling and standing on a chair put his head through the noose. The boy was about to kick the chair away - when Bobby came in.

"Hey babe, I-", he said walking in. After looking up seeing Luke like that he added with in tears his eyes, "What are you doing?" Luke chuckled sadly. "I told you it wasn't that easy, you helped, but it's hurts to much", he said. "I love you, goodbye love", he whispered and kicked the chair from under him.

Bobby rushed forward again, but this time he was to slow. Luke already hung from the celling when Bobby removed the noose and called the ambulance.

The boy couldn't stop crying, he had lost his soulmate just a few months after him. For a few weeks everything hurt until he note in Luke's journal.

I'm sorry that I left you alone, but I just couldn't take it anymore. Maybe I should've listened and got a therapist. Well, it's too late now.

I just have one last wish: Please publish my songs with the band (I know you can sing) and help others in my situation, okay?

Bobby cried his heart out one last time and then made a decision. He dedicated the rest of his life to publish Luke's songs and bring awareness to mental illnesses, he even started working at a suicide hotline and donated most of his money to the Trevor project.

Luke watched over him as a ghost the whole time until crossed over. His unfinished business was to help other people with the same problem and through his songs he did.

When Bobby died, he was trapped in ghost realm for eternity because his unfinished business was to meet Luke again.
