Flynn was the first to wake up that morning. She quickly and quietly got out of bed and ready. Then she rushed downstairs to make breakfast in bed for Julie - her first surprise for her girlfriend on their 2-year anniversary.

When she was done, she went upstairs with the food and with a foreheadkiss woke up the still sleeping Julie.

"Good morning, love", Julie mumbled still half asleep, but smiling. "Good morning, Darling", Flynn responded also smiling. "I made breakfast in bed", she told her.

"Aww, thank you", Julie said kissing her on the cheek. The two sat in the bed enjoying the food.

Once they were done eating and talking, Julie also had a surprise.

"You have to wait here and close your eyes", she insisted. "Okay, whatever you say", Flynn chuckled closing her eyes. "I'm getting the surprise now, be right back!", Julie informed her and jogged downstairs and in their garden. There in a bush she had hidden...

A new cat. It had white fluffy fur and green eyes, it loved cuddles, but also playing and looking around outside. Julie had found and nurtured the stray a few days ago and thought it was perfect for them. Now she was carrying it in her arms, bringing it upstairs to show Flynn.

"Hey love, I'm back", she announced walking into the room, "you can open your eyes now"

Flynn opened her eyes and started squealing when she saw the cat. "Omg, you didn't - thank you so much, Darling", she exclaimed.

"Happy 2-year anniversary", Julie smiled, "you mention cats so often, I thought we could have one for ourself"

"You are amazing", Flynn said. The three cuddled up for a few for minutes and then decided they would spend their day at their favorite spots in and out the town.

First, they went to the lake where they had their first date and picnicked there again. Then through a clearing in the woods where they would sometimes hangout, they made it back into the town. They went to the towns little ice-cream shop, it was very homey and had the best ice-cream. After, they hung out with their friends a bit, until they ended up at the towns market in front of Flynn's house at sunset.

Their friends all left or... well told them they did and hid near them. "should we head home?", Julie asked.

"I have one last surprise for today, then we can", Flynn told her. Julie agreed to this and Flynn started speaking again.

"This anniversary was beautiful and I makes me even more sure of what Im about to say", she confessed.

"I love you so much. Ever since I first saw you, I knew you were the most beautiful girl on this earth. Then when we became closer and started dating, I learned that you aren't only beautiful, but also incredibly kind, creative and loving. When we discovered that we were soulmates, I knew this day would come, so", Flynn continued while getting down on one knee. "Will you marry me?", she asked pulling out the ring smiling.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes", Julie laughed crying out of joy, "a million times yes" She then tackled Flynn and they hugged laying on the floor sharing a long kiss.

When they broke apart, their friends came out and congratulated them. Flynn finally put the ring on Julies finger.

When they went home, Julie had something to tell Flynn.

"Hey, Love?", she spoke up. "Yes, Darling?", Flynn answered.

"I was actually going to propose to you when we got back, but I guess you beat me to it", Julie chuckled. "Really?", Flynn asked kinda shocked.

"Yes, the ring is in our kitchen, I wanted to propose while dinner", Julie confessed. "Do it anyway", Flynn exclaimed, "I mean I won't be surprised, but still I want to hear your speech and see the ring"

"Sure", Julie chuckled. And so, after they got back to the cottage (holding hands the whole way) there was a second proposal that day with a speech just as cute (maybe even cuter) and another pretty ring.

That evening the two lovers and their cat cuddled up and smiled while thinking back on the events that happened that day.
