This continued for weeks, Flynn would hang out and then with the cat in the garden. She'll tell it about her day and after some time it slowly came closer.

This day it was sitting an arm-length away from Flynn. "Today me and Carrie were shopping, it was really cool. I'm glad she didn't change after I told her I was a lesbian", the girl said and the cat gave a surprised meow. "Wasn't it obvious?", Flynn chuckled. The cat slowly shook it's head, but it also seemed to be thinking about it. Flynn talked a bit more, then the cat left.

Flynn went back inside and got ready for bed, but when she was at her window that evening, she heard the voice for the first time.

It was absolutely gorgeous and glass clear. It sounded like an angle was singing. Flynn was sure it was coming from the cottage at the forest where the cat always left to, but that was basically impossible. It was too far away.

The next morning Flynn almost overslept, but luckily the singing voice woke her up. It sang:

Get up, get out relight that spark

You know the rest by heart

*

Wake up, wake up if it's all you do

Look out, look inside of you

It's not what you lost

It's what you'll gain

Raising your voice to the rain

*

Wake up your dream and make it true

Look out, look inside of you

It's not what you lost

Relight that spark

Time to come out of the dark

Wake up

Wake up

*

So wake that spirit spirit

I wanna hear it hear it

No need to fear it you're not alone

You're gonna find your way home

*

Wake up, wake up if it's all you do

Look out, look inside of you

It's not what you lost

It's what you'll gain

Raising your voice to the rain

*

Wake up your dream and make it true

Look out, look inside of you

When you're feeling lost

Relight that spark

Time to come out of the dark

Wake up

Wake up

Flynn chuckled; the irony was amazing. Then she thanked the voice in her head and got ready.

A week later the cat was lying next to her. Despite that when she reached out to pet it, it jumped back. Flynn understood and didn't try pet it again. The cat understood this and laid next to her again.

Another week later the cat leaned into Flynn's hand allowing her to pet it, but not at the neck were the key was hanging. Flynn was happy she finally got to pet it, so she was fine that she couldn't pet it here.

A few days later Flynn was ranting about the voice to the cat and how it always made her feel better. The cat was shook by something but then it soften up and finally letting Flynn pet it's neck.

After some petting the cat tilted it's head, dropping the key in Flynn's hands. "What are you doing?", Flynn asked the cat. The cat just stood up and went out of the garden looking back at Flynn making sure she followed it.

The cat then lead the girl toward the cottage at the forest. The jumping through the window. "what do I do now?", Flynn asked herself, but since she trusted the cat by now, she opened the door with the key and saw...
