Flynn ran home, her nerves were killing here. Julie is my girlfriend and we have a date today! Is this reality? She was so excited and nervous that she bumped into Carrie.

"Hey, watch ou- Oh, Flynn, what's up? Why are you running", Carrie asked. "My and Julie are going on a date, I have to get changed!", Flynn shouted to her. "What?", Carrie shouted back confused and some people repeated. A date with Julie? I thought that was impossible, but good for her.

At home Flynn rushed into her room and put on her favorite blue dress, then she accessorized with a few necklaces and bracelets. Then she prepared her part of the picknick in the kitchen. She brought the bread and cake she backed the day before, some cheese and cold meats for the bread, some butter and some juice. With all that and cloth napkins packet in a basket, she made her way over to Julies cottage.

Julie was already waiting in front of the cottage, she was holding a basket of her own and she picked where to go.

"There you are", Julie laughed and grabbed Flynn's hand, "Come one!" She dragged other girl after her through the forest until they arrived at a small lake in a clearing. The sun shone down on it and ducks were swimming in the water.

"It's beautiful", Flynn said stunned by the place. "Not as beautiful as you", Julie swooned. Flynn blushed crazy at that and quickly said, "Let's sit down and eat"

Julie put down a picknick-blanket and they sat down. The two ate the bread, a salad Julie made and the cake while talking and laughing. After that they fed each other strawberries with whipped cream getting the cream everywhere and gently wiping it of each other's faces.

The sun was going down and it was getting colder, so Flynn and Julie wrapped themselves up in another blanket Julie brought and watched the sunset whispering with each other about anything and everything.

Finally it was nighttime and the stars where out to see especially from this lake with no air-pollution. "The stars are so beautiful", Julie swooned. "Not as beautiful as you", Flynn complimented.

"Okay, you got me", Julie chuckled. "No, I mean it, you are gorgeous", Flynn insisted. "I meant it too, you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen", Julie told her. By this time, their foreheads were resting on each other and they were smiling full of joy.

"Can I kiss you?", Flynn whispered. "Is that even a question", Julie whispered back. They both leaned in and their lips met in the middle in a sweet kiss that tasted like strawberries and chocolate cake.

When they broke apart twenty seconds later, they were smiling even more. The kiss felt so great that they leaned in again, kissing for a second time. After they broke apart this time, Flynn noticed something in the sky.

"Look, it's a shooting star", she said pointing at it, "Make a wish" Julie squinted, then told Flynn, "I did, did you?"

"I did, what was yours?", Flynn asked. "I can't tell you that then it won't come true", Julie chuckled. "Good point just tell me when it already came true", Flynn said. "will do", Julie promised smiling.

They cuddled and talked for a couple more minutes. Then they decided to pack up and go back home. The girls raced through the forest in a joking competition. When they arrived at the cottage, they said goodbye and kissed once again, then Flynn went to her house.

Both girls dreamed about each other that night.
