Tavon P.O.V

I stretched and sighed.

“Are you ready to go?” I looked at Lisa and nodded.  Finally I was getting out of here and let me tell you how glad I was to be gone. I mean don’t get me wrong the nurses and Dr. Stephen kept me entertained, but I don’t think I’ve ever liked sitting in one spot for so long. I grabbed my bag that had my personals and another pair of clothes in it, and followed Lisa out the room.

“Hey Tavon wait up.” Lisa and I stopped. I turned to look at Dr. Stephen as she walked towards me.

“I hate that you’re leaving. It was fun having someone to bother.” I smiled at her.

“Your right.” She hesitated for a second looking away. I grabbed her chin and turned her face back towards me. “If you want to ask me something then go ahead. There is no need to be shy.”  She grabbed my hand, but didn’t move it.

“I was wondering if you wanted to get to know each other outside of the hospital. I’m not hitting on you or anything, but it would be good to have a friend that doesn’t speak medicine.” I smiled at her.

“Of course. I’ll come by tomorrow after you get off work, and we can go out and do whatever.” I leaned down and laid a light kiss on her cheek. She smiled brightly at me.

“I’ll see you tomorrow TK.” She took a few steps back before turning and walking away. I watched her as she disappeared down the hall and around the corner. When I turned towards Lisa she was frowning at me. I sighed.

“I do remember who I am Lisa. I like her, but I feel nothing for her.” Lisa was still frowning at me, which made me frown. “Why are you looking at me like that?” She shrugged.

“You seem different.” I shrugged and smirked at her.

“I have been in a coma for six months. You can’t blame me for having a little fun.” I leaned forward and licked her cheek. She squealed and pushed me away, making me and the people around watching us laugh.

 “Why would you do that?”

“I felt like it, and I just told you I want to have some fun. Why not have as much as possible. Plus being in a car accident and surviving feels like I’m getting a second chance. Why shouldn’t I do what I want?” Lisa gave me a weak understanding smile.

“Your right, now come on, I’m sure the girls are wondering what’s taking so long.” I shrugged and we began to walk again.

A few minutes later we were outside approaching a limo. Carry, Tasha, and Melissa were standing around with wide smiles on their face. When I got closer Carry let go of Tasha hand and ran towards me. I dropped my bag and caught her when she jumped in my arms. “It’s good to see you to Carebear.” I let her down and picked up my bag. When the other girls took a turn giving me hugs, I was about to say something when the back door opened.

I watched curiously. A woman stepped out and I smiled at her.

“Hello Tavon.” I walked up to her and brought her into a tight hug.

“Jasmine.” When I let her go she laughed and playfully pushed me back.

“Down boy, no humping my leg.” I smirked at her.

“I haven’t gotten to that part yet.” She froze and I bust out in a fit of laughter.

“Calm down I joke, I joke.” She raised an eyebrow and shook her head at me.

“Glad to see your bubble as ever.” I shrugged.

“Like I told Lisa, I feel like I’m getting my second chance. So why not live it up.” She smiled at me.
