Chapter 6: Change?

Y/N was rushing over to her home, when she entered the main living room everything was quiet. She saw her father, Takeshi, sitting in the middle.

(Y/N) "Hello sir. You called me?"

(Takeshi) "Yes, please sit down."

(Y/N) :thinks: *Please? I'm in big trouble now.* "What is the emergency?"

(Takeshi) "There isn't. I just needed to talk to you."

(Y/N) "Of course."

(Takeshi) "I know I wanted you to become part of the Anbu Black Ops, but now, I want you to quit being a ninja."

(Y/N) "What!?!"

Outside of the house, Kakashi's shadow clone was outside.

(Kakashi) "What is he up to?"

(Y/N) "That is not--"

(Takeshi) "I'm not finished." He said in a loud firm voice.

(Y/N) "Sorry--"

(Takeshi) "My apology for yelling."

:Y/N thinks: *What did he say?"

(Takeshi) "I'm sorry for pushing you hard. Ever since your mother died, all I did was put the blame to someone. Now I'm doing it again when your grandmother passed away."

Both Y/N and the Kakashi clone were in shock to hear an apology from Takeshi. A man known to be extremely strict and never apologies to anyone. And he just apologized to Y/N! (Even I'm surprised and I'm writing this story!!)

(Takeshi) "It's just... I don't want anything to happen to you."

(Y/N) "S-sir..." *This doesn't feel right... but...*

(Takeshi) "You may do as you wish from now on. You may continue being a ninja, however you have to be careful. Please be careful."

(Y/N) You look down. "Do you mean it!? Do you really mean what you say!?!" You look up tearing up.

(Takeshi) "I do."

(Y/N) "Then, apologize for another thing."

(Takeshi) "Anything--"

(Y/N) "For calling me a monster and saying it was me that killed mother and granny."

(Kakashi) :whisper: "Y/N..."

(Y/N) "I don't know what happened to mother, but I tried really hard with all my strength, all my power to save granny."

(Takeshi) He put his head on the floor. "I'm sorry. I'm truly sorry for calling you such things."

(Y/N) :thinks: *After all this time, are we going to mend our relationship?* "I forgive you."

Y/N's father got up and hugged her as tight as he could. Y/N hesitated, but she hugged her father back. She cried a bit but out of happiness.

(Kakashi) "I have a bad feeling about this." The clone disappeared.

Back with the real Kakashi in the one on one fight.

(Kakashi) "Huh. There may be a problem."

(Naruto) "Did you say something Kakashi Sensei?"

(Kakashi) "No no. I was just talking to myself."

(Naruto) "Ok... weirdo."

The next day, Y/N heard that everyone has 30 days before the final part of the Chunin exams. While walking around town, Y/N was happy. She showed a smile to everyone, which they missed very much. She saw Choji and Naruto at Ichiraku and decided to join.
