Chapter 4: Surprise Attack

Y/N got home, but before entering she heard a scream. She went around the back through the kitchen. There is a door that connects the kitchen to the living room. She took a peek to see what's going on. A ninja, probably a thief, holds a knife against Granny's throat. Y/N needed to find a way to separate him from Granny. Looking up, there was a vent, she went through the one from the kitchen and to above the thief and Granny. Carefully opening the vent and getting ready to attack. Y/N took out a kunai knife and threw it down injuring the thief's hand. She jumped down kicking him back.

(Y/N) "Granny are you all right!?"

(Granny) "I'm fine, just kick his butt."

(Y/N) You smiled. "Ok, stay back. Who are you, what do you want?"

The thief didn't say anything. He got up and started fighting with Y/N. The thief was good. When Y/N finally pinned him down, the thief yelled out for back up. *There's more, how did I not sense them?* Two other thieves burst into the house.

(Y/N) "You guys aren't normal thieves. Your skills are similar to mine. You can do better than robbing a home."

(Thief 1) "You must be Y/N. We were sent to kidnap you."

(Y/N) "That will not be easy. Three against one, bring more buddies of yours then it will be fair. Granny..."

(Granny) "I know. Just get rid of them."

(Y/N) "Copy that."

One of the thieves was going to attack Granny, Y/N blocked his attack. She's fast, not as fast as Kakashi sensei, but she is somewhere around there. The thieves were elite and Y/N can't hold them off much longer. She decided to do her special move. While doing the special jutsu. there was this extra power she could feel.

(Thief 2) "Boss, we have to get out of here."

(Thief 3) "I heard of this jutsu, if we don't leave will be eliminated."

(Thief 2) "Boss!!"

(Thief 1) " Just throw all the knives and blades we got before she fires."

They did what they were told. Y/N blocked as much as she can that was thrown. Focusing all the power in one hand, Y/N threw a punch that sent them flying. She destroyed the living room wall, but at least they are gone. Y/N ran to Granny.

(Y/N) "Granny, are you alright?"

(Granny) "Are they gone?"

(Y/N) "Yeah, they are."

(Granny) "Listen to me Y/N, you have a special gift within you."

(Y/N) You look at Granny's stomach. "Granny, you're bleeding. I didn't block all those blades fast enough. I have to take you to the hospital right away. Hold on, I'm going to carry you."

(Granny) "This injury was before you got here."

(Y/N) "Why didn't you say anything!?"

(Granny) "Y/N, there are people who want to get rid of you."

(Y/N) "Hold on Granny, we're almost there at the hospital!"

(Granny) "Take this bracelet. There is a note in it to help you in the future. Read it when it's the right time."

(Y/N) "Stay with me Granny."

Y/N entered the hospital yelling for help. The medical ninjas took Granny in for surgery. They told Y/N to stay outside. Hours past, Junko came back from his mission. He heard the news and rushed to the hospital. Both of them stayed, for it seemed like an eternity. Takeshi visited only once, he was so busy that he asked for any news if anything changed. Morning came, a few of Y/N's friends visited.
