Chapter 7: Acceptance?

Sorry for posting really late. I tried to stay on schedule, but just my luck I got sick. I'm finally felling much better. Enjoy this chapter!!!

The next morning Y/N was trying to look for her father, but he was nowhere to be seen in the house. She went into the kitchen to find Akemi and Junko.

(Y/N) "Do you know where father is at?"

(Junko) "He went to some meeting."

(Akemi) "Lady Kaneko, please sit and I will bring you your breakfast."

(Y/N) "It's ok Akemi, I actually have to leave."

(Akemi) "You can't skip breakfast!"

(Y/N) You started walking away. "Sorry, I'm already gone. I can't hear you! See ya!!"

(Junko) "She still has to supervise the guest."

(Akemi) "Right..."

(Junko) "Plus, it will help if you call us by our name. Instead of saying Lady or Lord or whatever."

(Akemi) "That is not very appropriate."

(Junko) "But, she might listen to you more."

(Y/N) "You're not going out for training?"

(Kankuro) "Nope. Will just stay inside. I'm fixing up my puppet."

(Y/N) "Too bad."

(Temari) "Why is that?"

(Y/N) "No nothing, I was hoping to do some training with you guys. So instead, why don't I bring you something to eat."

(Kankuro) "Sure. Just make sure it's good and edible."

(Temari) "Kankuro!"

(Y/N) "No it's alright. I'll make sure to do that and also to bring something for your doll."

(Kankuro) "It is a puppet. A puppet."

(Y/N) "Uh-huh." You walked out to get some food.

At Ichiraku's.

(Y/N) "5 ramen please." *I can't forget about their sensei. He must be hungry too.*

(Choji) "Hey Y/N!"

(Y/N) "Mmm. Oh hey Choji. Hi Shikamaru." You tried to sound as optimistic as you can.

(Choji) "What are you up to?"

(Y/N) "Delivery. I'm babysitting our guest from the sand village."

(Shikamaru) "Those people are crazy."

(Choji) "If it wasn't for Guy Sensei, Lee could have been dead."

(Y/N) "What?"

(Choji) "You haven't heard, Lee is in the hospital because of that Gaara person."

(Y/N) "No I haven't." *I was too busy with myself.* "I only know that Gaara won the match."

(Shikamaru) "Aren't you friends with Rock Lee?"

(Y/N) "I am."

(Teuchi) "Here you go, five ramen."

(Y/N) "Thank you." You looked over at Shikamaru. "I'm sorry Shikamaru about yesterday. See you both later... I guess"

(Shikamaru) "Hold on, you said you wanted to tell me something back at the Chunin exams."

(Y/N) "Don't worry, it was nothing important." You left the two best friends alone.
