Warning: Implied smut

There once was a boy in blue. A boy loved by absolutely everyone. His name was...

Lance.

He was charming and very handsome, loved by others in different ways. Hunk, a brotherly love. Allura and Pidge, a sisterly love. Shiro, a fatherly love. And then there was the ocean. Yes, the ocean was alive and very very in love with Lance, wishing to have him as his own. One day, Lance met the boy in red. Shiro's little brother was a different person. Barely any friends, tall, strong and beautiful but not very social, and his job was a sailor. His name was...

Keith.

They had a rocky start, arguing at first. But their relationship progressed into the beginning of something beautiful. Lance was the last one to realize he fell in love with the boy in red. Keith took a while to realize he loved Lance too. After professing their love together, they moved in together and started living their life as boyfriends. They adored each other and showed each other love and affection. Everyone was happy for them.

Well, except for one.

The ocean tried to hide his hurt. He never told Lance his feelings, so of course Lance didn't know his damage. The ocean had eyes everywhere. Lance and Keith lived in a house next door. One night, their love escalated. Keith kissed Lance passionately, holding him closely. Lance made small noises, causing Keith (and the ocean) to go wild for Lance. Keith unbuttoned Lance's shirt, letting it slide off his shoulders. Lance sat and straddled over Keith and caressed his cheek, kissing him. Their faces were dusted red and that night, they made love. The Ocean was forced to watch in jealously. A storm brewed in the depths of it. The next morning came, and Keith was called to the service. He sat in his boat the Red Lion and Lance was there to say goodbye. Keith held Lance's sad face up with his hand and kissed him softly. "Lance, wait for me. I'll come back, I promise." Lance nodded and kissed his lover again as he watched him leave into the ocean.

The ocean was rough when Keith went into the sea. He vowed his revenge against Keith and murmured,"Say your last goodbye to the boy in blue. I don't want to share him." The storm and waves swept Keith off his boat and Keith fell into the bottom of the ocean's heart of jealously. The only thing the ocean left for Lance, was a piece of wood from Keith's wrecked boat. Lance cried and cried in despair and grief. Lance never lost hope, he stayed at the shores waiting for Keith as the ocean admired his beauty. One day, it spoke. "Lance, I know you're sad. But the boy in red is gone. I'm here for you. I'll love you till the end of our days, if you will take me." Lance frowned sadly,"I'm sorry, but my heart belongs to Keith. He isn't dead, I know he isn't." The ocean's waves rumbled in jealously,"Lance, I did everything for us to be together. I took Keith to the bottom of my body, he's gone now and I can have you." Lance realized what the ocean meant,"You mean you hurt Keith for me? How could you do such a thing?! No!" The ocean gave up for the day, only to repeat what he said the next day.

The ocean wasn't cruel. He knew Lance loved Keith, so he didn't kill him or enter his lungs. Keith was alive and breathing at the bottom of it's body. Keith constantly fought against the ocean to reach the surface, being stuck in it's coral.

What do you think causes the waves to move during the ocean's storms?

Lance was sick of it. One day, after two months, he dove into the ocean. The ocean squirmed in excitement,"Have you finally decided to be with me, Lance." Lance swam in the ocean and saw Keith struggling in the coral. Lance's eyes widened in happiness and grabbed Keith's knife, that the ocean was keeping from him. He slashed the coral and Keith was free. The ocean tried to stop them by letting himself into Keith's body, filling his lungs with water. Keith passed out and Lance carried him to the shore. The ocean roared and Lance performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, also known as CPR.

Keith coughed water and Lance hugged him tightly. Keith realized he was alive and with Lance. Both were overjoyed and laughed and kissed each other.

The Ocean never stopped loving the boy in blue, no one did. But Lance's heart would always belong to the boy in red. And that was that.
