Part 24. contact with the others

Now that they finally reached the hotel, it was time for three important things. Making contact with the others and familiarizing themselves with the new surrounding, as well as checking the available resources and making a list, divided by urgency, of the things they needed.

So the first thing Zhan and Yibo did was to put new batteries in the radio, go back up to the roof of the hotel and contact the others, who were apparently already waiting for good news. Excitedly, they told the others over the radio that they had reached the hotel, how they reached it, and then said, "Everything is still working. We have electricity and hot water!"

They could hear the cheers of the other survivors as Zhan's father said, "We will be with you in two days. Continue to be careful. We were attacked by a group of vampires last night. No one was hurt. The rooms, from single to family, are fully furnished and even freshly made. And because someone had put a sheet over all the furniture as well as the beds, everything was clean underneath.
