Part 27 - Theories about the gray creatures.

Zhan and Yibo have been accompanying the rescue team since two days to look for the surviving people who contacted the hotel a few days ago asking for help. They want to help these people, but at the same time they want to find out what is happening to the creatures and where their gray creatures are.

Since the two arrived at the hotel, they have not seen the 5 gray ones. Yibo would often stand on top of the hotel, well actually this is just a fenced platform, and keep an eye out for the gray creatures that were becoming too familiar to them. But not once in the past 3 months, had they made an appearance.

At the same time of searching for the survivors and his gray creatures, Yibo was able to reflect on the last conversation with his parents. After he went to them and told them that he was moving back out from them and in with Zhan, they became very angry and would not let him go.

After some back and forth between him and his parents, Yibo accused them of not respecting him and not having faith in him. "How can you ignore my feelings for Zhan? Instead of telling me all the time that a relationship between two men is wrong, you should respect my feelings for Zhan and support me if you love me as your son!" He shouted at his parents.

"We cannot support such a relationship. You are both men and this is totally unnatural for you to be together and sleep with each other." Replied his father.

"Why should it be unnatural? We feel just like any other couple. Our feelings for each other, are the same as any other couple. And when I make love to Zhan, it just feels great to me. I love him and his body and our sex! And you have no right to judge me or him! And until you can accept him by my side, as my boyfriend, I will stay away from you."

"You can't just ignore us!" Shouted his mother.

"Yes I can! If you really love me and don't want to lose me as your son, then start accepting and respecting my love for Zhan. Why don't you get to know him before you judge him? He is such a wonderful person. He is so cute, smart, funny, loving, charming and a great doctor. I just love everything about him and I'm glad I found him at a time like this. Without him, I don't think I would have ever known what true love was."

"And what about Lee? What if she shows up here one day? You were together for a long time and you were happy." Said his father.

"Happy? I was never happy with her. To be perfectly honest, I was only with her because it's 'normal' to have a girlfriend. I was never in love with her. I thought I had to, because it was only natural to have a girlfriend at my age. But I was never happy. I've only been happy since I started dating Zhan. I feel this tingling in my stomach and I can't stop thinking about him. When my heart races when I look at him and I just want to run up to him and hug him and kiss him."

"So you've just been fooling us and Lee this whole time?" His mother wanted to know.

"First and foremost, I was fooling myself the whole time. You two were just seeing what you wanted to see anyway. And I think Lee somehow always sensed it, that my heart never beat faster for her. Oh yes, it raced sometimes too when I got angry at her and her games. Ask Seungyoun, he will be able to tell you enough stories about the real Lee. About her lies and all her tricks to get attention. Anyway, I don't want to talk about her now. I'm going back to Zhan now and I'm going to live with him again and most importantly, be happy with him."

Yibo then grabbed his backpack with his clothes and returned to the room to Zhan, who was already happily waiting for him with a cake that Zhan had hastily gotten him for his birthday. Yibo smiled, although he had told Zhan only a short time before that this was his birthday, but he had not thought that Zhan would somehow manage to get a cake.
