Michael
"What's going on?!" I shouted as I entered the training center.
The place was a mess and wolves were fighting each other. My pack was fighting against a large group of rogues. Our training weapons and fighting dummies were thrown everywhere and crushed under the weight of the wolves. There was blood, but no dead wolves, thank goodness.
"Alpha!" a girl shouted through the mind link.
I looked to my right and I saw my cousin Heather trying to fight two large rogues. I quickly ran over to her and shifted into my wolf. My pure gray wolf rammed into the large brown and tan one and knocked him away for a second. I growled at him and he scampered away.
"Are you alright?" I asked Heather.
"I'm fine," she said, throwing the rogue away and knocking him out.
"So what happened?"
"They just showed up and demanded the alpha female, and when we refused to tell them anything they attacked."
They wanted Sophia? Why? I growled as I remembered her phone call. Wanted to study? I growled and barked loudly as I started to piece it together. A group of rogues wanted her, someone called her wanting to 'study', and she had no wolf. Someone wanted to study her since she was different. Charles probably doesn't know, but I need to protect my mate.
We have to protect her! Salem said, worry and anger clear in his voice.
I know, but first we need to take care of these rogues.
Allow me, he said in a deadly voice
Everyone stopped fighting, including the rogues, once they felt Salem's threatening presence appear. I gave Salem most of the control, but I knew he could take care of them. Salem slowly walked in a circle, all my pack members running to the center of it. They knew Salem could protect them, and they would be there to help me.
"What are you doing here?" Salem asked the rogues.
"We're here for your mate," one said boldly.
Salem and I growled loudly, making the rogues' ears point back.
"You're not getting her!"
"We didn't ask for permission."
Salem and I were on the verge of attacking them all, but I needed to know who wanted Sophia. Suddenly the wolf I was speaking to shifted to his human form. He quickly put on a pair of basketball shorts that another wolf gave him and he stared at me.
"We don't like doing this, but we have no choice."
"What do you mean?"
"The guy who wants your mate took our mates and is holding them captive until we deliver your mate to him."
Salem and I growled, but we both understood their predicament. Take one mate for the sake of theirs. This was completely wrong, even for a werewolf. Who wanted my mate?
"Who was it?"
"A man named Logan Hills."

Tyler was standing next to me, trying to calm me and Salem down, but it wasn't working very well. After speaking with the rogues, Salem and I lost it, hearing what Logan wanted to do with Sophia, and I attacked them all. I killed most of them, including the one who spoke, and Tyler and Andrew forcibly made me stop to keep some to speak with.
"Salem, Michael, calm down," Tyler said again, his hand squeezing my shoulder. "You can't kill them all."
"I can't calm down! There's nothing that can calm me down!" I snapped, gaining more control over Salem.
"I know ways to calm you down," Andrew said. "My mate can always calm me down."
"Mate?" I said, teasing the idea.
"Yeah, but you need to calm down a little more before you go running to-Michael!" Andrew said, but I ran away from them toward Sophia's house.

Sophia
Mom and dad were called to Uncle Rick and Aunt Ashley's for an 'adult retreat', so that meant all of us kids were home alone. Well, then that meant that Charlie was staying at Lily's house, Justin took Leo and Julia to an amusement park in the next state over, and Tommy and I were at home.
It was almost one in the morning and I was smiling at my ceiling thinking of Michael. Tommy was the only other person in the house and he slept in the basement, so it was very quiet upstairs without dad's snoring. I could've easily fallen asleep, but suddenly I heard a door open and feet pounding up the stairs.
I propped myself up on my elbows and yelped as my door quickly opened up to reveal Michael standing there staring at me.
"Michael!" I exclaimed quietly.
He didn't say anything as he walked over to my bed and was suddenly hovering over me. I quickly laid back down in suprise as Michael suddenly burried his face in my neck. He smelled like sweat mixed with vanilla, but I still found it amazing. Michael was smelling my neck, but now he started to kiss my shoulder and my neck.
"Michael," I whipered quietly.
"Shh," he said, pulling back to look at my face. "Sorry, I needed you."
I smiled. He smiled back, but then his eyes slowly traveled away from my face and down my body. I blushed as I remembered I was only wearing a loose black tank top and blue short shorts. At least he couldn't see my legs because they were covered. He looked back at my face and slowly brought his face closer to mine and placed a tender kiss on my lips.
I returned his kiss and slowly brought my arms around his neck. He laid on his arms as he pressed himself against me, deepening the kiss. Michael placed all his weight onto one arm as his other went to my arm and stroked it, sending tingles and sparks everywhere.
I was suddenly feeling too warm under my covers, and I started to shift uncomfortably. Michael slowly pulled away and looked at me.
"What's wrong?"
Instead of answering him I kicked my covers off of my legs and felt the cool air wrap around them. I smiled at Michael and then pulled him back down to me in a passionate kiss. He quickly returned it and then added some more to it.
I was losing my breath and broke the kiss apart, but Michael trailed down my jaw and neck again with kisses. I sighed and once he reached a certain spot on my neck I moaned. Michael picked me up a bit, his strong arms supporting me as I braced my hands against his chest, and then he carefully bit into my skin.
I stifled a scream which then turned into kisses on Michael's ear and then his cheek, and finally his lips. His hands slowly crept down my sides and he began to lift up my shirt. His hands were warm against my skin, and I kissed him harder.
"Sophia!" a voice screamed from my doorway.
