Sophia

My head was aching as I slipped back into consciousness. I remembered what happened and wished it didn't. Lily was alive, that's all I care about right now. At least she wasn't dead, and no one else was dead...hopefully.

"Wake up sunshine," a voice cooed. It wasn't Michael, or Charlie, and dad never called me 'sunshine', so someone else was watching me. "You've been asleep long enough."

I slowly opened my eyes and I flinched back as I saw an older face in front of me. Okay, so I had a creepy old stalker. I think I'm going to be sick. My head hit a stone wall and I saw black dots for a second.

The old man chuckled. "Calm down darling, I'm not going to hurt you. Quite the opposite in fact, I'm going to take care of you while you're going to be here."

The old man had white hair, brown eyes, wrinkles everywhere, but he had perfect teeth. Maybe they were dentures. He looked familiar, but I've never seen him before.

I then noticed I was chained to a wall. My wrists were chained directly onto the wall and my ankles were as well, and I was a good six inches off the ground. I didn't like how I was hanging here against a cold wall in a tank top and short shorts...and no bra.

Maybe having some guards around would've been a good idea. If I wasn't such a stubborn girl, maybe I wouldn't be here. I always hate to admit it, but Charlie, and Michael, were right.

"Where am I?" I asked, my voice cracking from my dry throat.

"You need some water, its been a while since you've had something to drink," the old man said.

He turned away from me and walked over to a small table. On the old wooden table was a bottle of water and a plate of bread, along with several tools I've seen used to torture people. Dad had some in the cells at home, but he never used them before. There were a few knives, a whip, a strange twisted thing, and other things I didn't like the looks of.

The man returned with the bottle of water and noticed me staring at the tools.

"Don't worry, they won't use those for a while."

"They?"

"Oh, the scientists. Here, drink up."

He lifted the bottle up to my mouth, but I refused to open my lips for the water; who knows if it was poisoned. The man sighed.

"Please drink, you need it."

I shook my head. He sighed again and put the bottle back on the table. He very slolwy turned around and stared at me with angry eyes. I became afraid. How stable was this man?

"When I come back, you better drink something or else one of these tools will be tested on you," he stated.

He then turned around and walked out the door that was on the far wall. The room was small, dim, and made almost entirely of stone, like the cells at the pack house.

Was I at another pack's place? Maybe Charlie would know where I am! But how could he if I only describe the windowless room I'm in? Did he even know I was gone?

What about Michael? Did he know I was gone? Did he care? I hope so, maybe he would know where I was. It was worth a try.

"Hello? Michael?" I hoped the mark he made was enough of a connection to get through to him.

Michael

We were all sitting in Charlie's meeting room where we were discussing about what to do to find Sophia. Charlie and I were more panicked than anyone else about finding her, and I had the worst case of threatening Logan. Kostas didn't want Ira to be there, but she said that Logan was her father and Sophia was her daughter so this matter concerns her completely.

"It's been three days since she was taken and we are no where near finding her," Justin stated, rubbing his forehead.

Ever since Sophia was taken, I've seen her pack really work together to find her. They all cared for her, and that touched my heart. I want my pack to care for her this much.

"Hello? Michael?" a faint voice said in my mind.

I inhaled sharply, causing Charlie and everyone else to look at me. Charlie gave me a quizzical looked before I whispered, "It's Sophia."

Everybody stood up and started asking questions, but I ignored them as Charlie silenced everyone.

"Sophia! Thank God you're alright!" I said.

"Yeah, kind of."

I frowned. "What do you mean kind of? What happened? Where are you?"

"I don't know where I am. I'm in a sort of dungeon chained to a wall. I'm scared Michael! There's a table full of torture tools!"

I growled. "No one is going to touch you with those! I promise we'll find you!"

She didn't respond to me for a moment, and I started to panic. Is she alright?

"I think I'm in another pack's cell. I don't know which one though."

"Alright, I'll start talking to every alpha I know and see if I can come search their cells for you. I promise."

"Thank you Mi-" she started.

What happened? Is she hurt? Did someone touch her? I'm going to kill them if they touched her.

"Michael! Help me! Please! Help!" Sophia screamed. I could hear pain in her voice as she said that.

I quickly stood up, sending the chair I was sitting in flying back. I stared at the table as I tried to reconnect our link, but she cut it off. She didn't want to talk now. What was happening? Were they hurting her? If they used a tool on her I'm going to-

"Michael, what happened?!" Charlie asked, probably repeating himself.

"She's in, like, a dungeon, but she doesn't know where. She thinks she might be in another pack's cell." I sat back down and put my head in my hands, trying to stop the thoughts that Salem was producing of torture that they could be doing to her. "They also have torture weapons in the cell."

Everyone around me growled. My pack was already feeling an attachment to Sophia because she was their new alpha female, and I was happy about that. Charlie looked beyond pissed about hearing what predicament his twin sistser was in, as was Kostas. Ira, however, looked ready to faint.

I quickly stood up and ran over to her, taking her arm.

"Are you alright?" I asked her.

Kostas quickly ran over to his wife and took her other arm. Ira only nodded before she started crying and Kostas wrapped her in a hug. I took a step back, wishing I could hold my mate now.

"How do we find her?" Tommy asked.

I looked at him and then at Charlie, who nodded at me. "We're going to check every cell we can. I'm going to call every alpha I know and do everything I can to find her."
