Edit: Please give me criticism! I want to write a book that you guys want to see mixed with what I want to write. Most of the book can change, nothing is set in stone!
A/N: So when I say teaser, it turns out I mean the whole first chapter...
This book won't be released until Once Abandoned, Now Found is finished, because my ADHD will not handle that, but you guys wanted the teaser.
It is going to be called Stubborn, a story about a stubborn young woman who hates her littlespace (at least when other people see it), and is going to learn through caregivers that littlespace is okay. Be prepared to see the characters you love (and hate) from the last book as well as maybe some new!
This isn't a forced age regression book, and will be completely sfw and non-sexual. It is proving that something is okay and changing an opinion, not forcing something on someone.
The language is a little more adult to start and is going to wean off, but I thought I would warn you first.
As always, I would love to hear your suggestions, ideas and questions.
Anyway, here you go!
"I don't want to do this."
A sour-faced girl was pushed up against the right-hand back passenger door, a small rucksack held tightly in her lap. Every few minutes she would turn to glare at the woman in the driver's seat, a stony face of utter hatred before returning to staring out of the window.
The girl was almost nondescript: small for her age but not by a noticeable amount; thin, but that was hidden under baggy clothes; short curly black hair that had chosen every direction rather than one; an assortment of freckles on her face, mostly from spending time outdoors; but what would catch people's attention is her eyes. Blue wouldn't be the right description, they were cold eyes, such a pale blue that it felt like you were looking into the heart of a snowstorm.
Her clothes were tattered, fraying at the ends, and small holes poked through; her converse shoes were similar, the soles being held on by duct tape, and the fabric worn to where her toes were poking through the sides.
The driver of the car was the opposite: the woman was just above average height, long brown hair swept into a ponytail, hazel eyes and a clear, shining face. Her suit had been recently ironed and pressed, black shoes polished, and a dainty ring on her finger completed the professional look.
"I don't want to do this" the girl muttered again during one of her glaring episodes.
"And what happened last time you lived without a caregiver?" The woman shot back.
The girl huffed in response.
"You burnt your kitchen to nothing, you nearly died of smoke inhalation, and one of your neighbours had to carry you out of the flat."
"I still don't want a caregiver! I am fine! I don't need you or anyone else from fucking LPS to check up on me!" The girl screamed.
"Alex, you agreed to this remember? And your life was put at risk because you fell into littlespace with food in the oven. I am not asking for you to stay for long, but you never know, you might like it. They already have two littles".
Alex simply huffed again, glaring daggers into the woman's head.
The woman sighed, using one hand to massage her temples as the car fell back into silence.
The car remained silent until they pulled up to a gate, a large house just beyond it.
"And of course they're fucking rich as well" Alex seethed, holding on tighter to her bag.
