RUES POV
—
it's been a few hours since everything happened between naveah and miya.
as naveah lays on the bed drawing i look at her as i'm sitting behind her crisscross. she always draws to distract herself from the world or her problems.
"what are you drawing?"
"eh nothing serious" i come down next to her and bump into her a little bit
"doesn't look like nothing" she looks at me and smiles a bit
"it's just a picture of two people holding hands...it's cheesy as fuck but whatever." she turns her pencil around and erases something then starts to draw again
"i like it baby" i look at her lips then kiss her which makes her smile.
someone starts calling her phone and she gets up and answers
"uh hey mom"
"uhm no" i look at her drawing as she talks on the phone then text jules
"hey, how was school?"
"it was good! there's like this party tonight if you and naveah wanna come."
"what kinda party?"
"just like a regular one or some shit"
"oh okay.. yeah we'll be there" she sends a thumbs up and i turn off my phone and put it down
"okay mom, i miss you too"
she pauses and turns looking at me still on the phone
"i love you too... i will..bye" i look at her and she smiles
"my mom said hi" i nod
"jules says there's this party.. wanna go?"
"sure.." i didn't wanna ask what happened with her mom unless she actually wants to tell me.
she smiles and starts to get ready. everything about naveah is just so amazing.
"want some clothes to wear?"
"uh-sure" i say smiling.
NAVEAHS POV

i hand rue the clothes then kiss her cheek.
"i'm getting in the shower" i pause
and smile
"would you like to come with?"
"sure" i smile and take her hand. we get in the shower together and play music . i hand her my rag to wash my back with
"do you mind?" she shakes her head.
as we got out the shower i get a text from maddy
"going to the party, hope to see u there ♡︎" i smile a little then grab rues hand and walks to my room. we get dressed together and rue does her beautiful curls as i do my eyeliner.
as we get done getting dressed i put my shoes on to walk to the party since it's not far.
i lock the door behind rue as she walks out the house.
"let's go" she says and i smile and hold her hand.
we walk in silence for a bit.
"are you sure we should go?" i break the silence
"i mean.. i don't mind baby" i look at her then smile. i love when she calls me baby, it's so cute.
"eh i don't know"
"well if you're not feeling it.. we could leave early if you'd like"
