"yo naveah why are you crying?"
i knew rue was gonna say something immediately after i got back into the house
when i got there and told her i knew she was gonna be upset. she was turning hot
"what the fuck. how is he going to fucking ask-"
as she was yelling i didn't know what to do so i decided to tell her to calm down.
"rue baby.. it's okay.. okay?" she hesitates but then she soon calms down as i hold her face into my hands
i put our foreheads together
"i love you okay? and i promise you i will never let him do that again." she looks down and sighs
her voice starts to quiver
"i-i- just want you to- be okay.. i can't lose you"
"and you won't baby. i promise" i smile and kiss her
rue and i are at a point in our relationship where when you try calm each other down it works..
half the time. other than that.. i'm really happy. like really fucking happy
- THE NEXT DAY -
rue and i walk to school together it's coming to the end of the school year and before you know it we'd be going to college i look up at rue and grip her hand.
"you good?"
"yeah.. of course" she kisses my cheek and as we walk up to the school doors maddy is there
"hi my babiessss"
"hii" rue just smiles and i hug maddy
"so what's up ?"
"uhm nothing.. nothing really let's walk to class together." i didn't wanna tell maddy so she would overreact, knowing her she might even tried to hurt him.
'uhm naveah' rue grabs me by the waste and pulls me close from behind
she whispers in my ear
'i love you.. you know that right?' i smile and grip her hands that are around my waste. as we go to first hour i couldn't help but think about what happened. everything was just in my head and i couldn't get it out. rue knew something was wrong with me so she gripped my hand and laid her head on my shoulder.
alot of times i tend to overthink as to why everything happens to me. like why did i meet rue ? well i still don't know why. she means the world to me and she's such a good person.. but why did i personally have to meet her ??..
'yo maddy' i look up at nate whos standing at the door way at the end of class.
maddy looks as if she still is inlove with nate
'why is she still with him knowing what he did' kat says
'right, it pisses me off'
'mhm' kat jumps in front of rue and i
'you like my new fittttt?'
'love it gurl'
'it's wonderful' rue says with a smirk
'i got some money from some of my 'clients' so i mean i love it too' i nod as we walk to the next class
as the next couple classes we haven't seen jules throughout the day. i go to the bathroom as the door is about to close i see a girl come in
'hi'
'heyy, are you new?'' shes a 5'5 girl, straight red hair and a really pretty smile.
"yeah i am.."
"cool what's your name?"
"jaylen'"
"cool i'm naveah.. nice to meet you" i smile at her and she smiles back.
'you can sit by me and my girlfriend and few others today at lunch if you'd like?"
