PART 11

RUES POV
-
Me and naveah are on our way home from the hotel we've been at. She's asleep on my shoulder. It's so peaceful but my heart is racing because I don't know what the hell is gonna happen when I get home. My mom came home early as fuck and I'm not there. She's been asking where I've been but I haven't been responding.

We finally get to our stop and I wake up naveah as I whisper in her ear.
"wake up." I hold her hand as she wakes up, she grabs her bags and we walk to her house.

"I had really fun rue."

"me-me too."

"you alright?"

"yeah of course I'll see you tomorrow I love you."

"I love you more." We kiss eachother as she waves goodbye and closes the door and I start to fidget knowing I'm gonna be in big ass trouble.

I finally got home opening the door.
"where were you rue?"

"I went to eat with naveah."

"no you weren't! you went to do drugs again. Your taking a drug test"

"I just peed."

"rue where we're you!!"

"I just told you I went to fucking eat."

"Like I said you're going to take a drug test."

"I just told you I already peed!!" I slam my room door behind me. I lay on my bed slowly. I hear a knock on my door and it's my sister.
"come in."

"h-hi rue."

"hey what's up."

"are you okay? you and mom haven't argued in awhile."

"yeah, I just was with naveah for a couple days I knew you guys would be gone so it was my chance to give her, her one month gift or whatever."

"woah.. y'all hit a month?"

"it's tomorrow."

"nice nice...Rue I love you. I really hope your not doing drugs again."
Her saying that made me wanna cry so bad. It made me stutter when I said

"I love-love you too. I'm- I'm not."
I don't know why but it hurt knowing she's afraid I'm doing drugs again. I hug her and tell her I'm gonna go to sleep. When she leaves my room my nose turns red and I just cry silently. It hurt. It really fucking did. I'm afraid no one understands that but naveah and I don't want her to worry.

I woke up realizing today is the day our one month is! I see a text from naveah saying.
"happy one month my luv <3 let me know when you wanna hang out."
I know it wasn't a lot she said but it still matters that she wants to hangout on our one month. It was also almost Christmas and the winter formal so I was really fucking happy to ask her. I walk out of my room seeing my moms new boyfriend Rick. I didn't mind him at first so I just made some cereal.
"hey rue."
He says looking up. I look down seeing him as my mom winks at me.
"rue this is Rick, Rick, rue."

"hi Rick." I didn't wanna sound like a bitch so I said hi.
"your mom told me you have a 'girlfriend'"

"yeah soo?"

"you gotta a girlfriend." I don't know why but that pissed me off.
"Rick.. go fuck yourself."

"how dare you talk to him or anyone like that."
