My alarm goes off waking me up to get ready for school, it's been a few days since I slept at rues.

We've been on good terms since that night, she actually wanted to talk more about what I had said before we went to bed. The next morning we did which I'm glad about.

I brush my teeth, wash my face as well as pick out my outfit.

'Can I come in?' My mom says knocking on the door that is open.

'sure' I say putting on my shirt. She lightly sits on the end of my bed.
'I'm leaving again, in about 2 days ..' I sigh.

'yeah, feels like your visits are never long.' I say.
'I was thinking about getting a job closer to home.. but that would mean I need a lot more help around the house.'

I sit next to her.
'if that's what you want, I know what you're doing now is your dream job.. I want nothing to do to interfere.'

'you and your sister are getting older. which means you guys don't have very long before you leave... I want as much time as I can with my babies,'

I take a big gulp thinking about how I'm almost 18.. and I'll be making my own decisions in life, in love .. in everything.

'So, what do you think?' I look at her and respond
'as long as I get to be with my mom, that's all that matters.' She smiles as I lay my head on her shoulder for a quick second.

I look at the clock on my phone quickly
'I gotta get going, I'll be home a bit later..'

'whys that?'
'lexis play!' I say in excitement for lexi.
'oh yes! have fun. and enjoy yourself.'

I do a quick smile at my mom, leaving my room.
I close the front door, breathing in the fresh air from outside.

'should I like wear green or purple to the play tonight?'

'honestly green, it'll look so good. BUT not a dark green.. light' I reply to maddys question.
We lean on the side of my locker. I glance at rue across the hallway who looks so good.

She looks healthier than ever before. As she's walking closer to maddy and I, cassie and nate walk in the doors looking like two of the biggest clowns ever.

Cassie looks.. you know what nevermindd.

'well she certainly looks the part..' Maddy scoffs.
I giggle at the fact they both don't realize they're making a fool of themselves.

'am I the only one who saw that orrr?' Rue says besides me. I look up at her
'we saw it..'

'the view wasn't great.' Maddy says.
'let's go' I say pulling rue into the bathroom with me. Maddy follows as well as kat who had just came from her locker.

'sooo likee, rue you coming to lexis play?'
'for sure' Rue responds to kats question.

Kat and maddy start to have their own conversation, I look at rue and smile

'I miss you' she says quietly.
'I miss you too my love..'

I'm not sure if rue and I being together together is the best option as of right now.. but making love every now and then I definitely do not have a problem with.
