Klena

Elijah stood above his brother with his arms crossed and a very displeased look on his face. Elijah nudged the side of Klaus's body with his foot. Trying to wake his brother up but all Elijah got was a groan back. Elijah narrowed his eyes at Klaus before kicking him this time a lot firmer.

Klaus shifted to the side, his face turning towards Elijah. Elijah titled his head to the side, his body dropping down to Klaus's level, his arms resting on his knees. "Get up" he stated firmly.

Klaus opened one eye and just chuckled. "Well aren't you fun today" Klaus took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment before opening them back up and getting up off the floor. Elijah brought himself up as well. Klaus stumbled a bit before regaining his balance and looking around the room.

It was trashed with empty bourbon bottles, all of Klaus's paintings were ruined, paint covered the walls and furniture and girls who were bleeding from their necks and wrists seemed to be passed out. There were three of them to be exact; one laid on the bed, the second was hanging off the couch and the third was laying passed out on the bathroom floor.

Klaus smirked at the half closed door with one of the girls inside. "Some people just don't know how to handle fun"

Elijah glared at his brother. "You call this-" Elijah's finger gestured around the room. "Fun?"

Klaus rolled his eyes, picking up his leather jacket from off the floor. "Yes, brother. This is fun. It's fun for me"

Elijah's eyes faltered. He knew why Klaus was acting like this, Rebekah and Elijah had both grew concern for their brothers well being. It was like the closer it came to Elena's wedding date, the more Niklaus drowned himself in blood and booze.

Elijah had tried everything for his brother but seeing as nothing worked, Elijah let Niklaus have his so called 'fun'. Hoping that it will help Klaus heal in his own way but it was doing the complete opposite, Klaus was getting worse. Elijah tried to get him out of the house but was unsuccessful.

Rebekah did her best to force Klaus to paint: get into his old habits. But it was no use since all of Klaus's recent paintings have been of Elena and once Klaus realized that he couldn't stop drawing Elena, he lost it.

Klaus ripped up all of the canvases, he broke his paint brushes, the paint itself was thrown all over the room and he was close to burning his whole studio just to get rid of the stuff for good but Elijah was there too stop his meltdown from getting any worse. Klaus didn't care though, he rarely even cried but when he did another breakdown accrued.

Elijah watched Klaus take out a cigarette from the pocket of his jeans. Elijah shook his head at it, smoking was a disgusting habit, the tobacco was starting to linger on his natural scent, it made standing next to Niklaus almost impossible. Elijah knew this had gone on for far to long and he wished he would have done something about it sooner to help prevent this but it was too late for regret of what he should have done.

All Elijah knows is that he can still fix this, Elijah is many things and stubbornly determined is one of them. Elijah knew for a fact Klaus was depressed, hiding behind an act of a blood high to keep his true emotions from rising.

Klaus inhaled the grey smoke, the poison invading his lungs. "You have something to say? Say it brother" Klaus blew out the smoke.

"You need help, Niklaus"

Klaus laughed. "I need help? Elijah....I need help? I'm an original hybrid who drinks blood to survive. What about that doesn't already scream help?" He flicked the cigarette away, the burning stick still lit and almost tempted to burn the carpet.
