Kai and Elena
Human/Dark AUPanic.
That's all that seemed to be running in her mind.
That's all she could make out.
All her senses gone, almost like there not there.
Her eye slightly blurry, her hearing is nothing but loud static, tastes buds bitter and salty from the tears that ran down her face and continue to run. Smell is clouded by blood. Her touch numb, so so cold and numb.
She tries to think of all the things that could have lead her up to this point, but nothing came to mind.
Just like her senses, her mind has abandoned her as well. Leaving nothing but her emotions to take over, adrenaline, fear and of course panic taking over.
She couldn't feel the pain around her wrist and she couldn't see the pitch black room she was in. Or the stranger that watches over her.
She just wanted to go home. Calling her mom to came pick her up from the party, she was already drunk and dizzy from the alcohol. So when a car had pulled up, she had assumed it was her mom, too tired to think of it as anything else.
But when she had noticed the stranger she panicked, trying to get out the car door, but the stranger had held her down. Elena tried to do everything in her power to get out of his grip, kicking, scratching, biting. She knew she got him good on his forearm, she remembered seeing a large bit mark left behind with small bits of blood coming out, and it wasn't until he had backhanded her, causing blood to race down her face.
To shock at the action, she stopped fighting. The stranger taking this as his chance to bang her head against the dashboard, finally knocking her out.
And when she opened her eyes, all she could see was black. Pitch black.
She didn't know how long she sat there on the floor for. But her legs soon became numb and feeling as though she might pass out again.
Laying down as best as she could, the cold wet floor making it impossible. But she managed.
Hours, maybe even days passed before a small light was shone on her. It was blinding, she couldn't see after being kept in the dark for so long, the light made it painful for her to look.
But she heard chains and finally a small click, he must have unlocked the chain. Elena's first thought was to run, but she wouldn't get far and before she could even move her hands from behind her back a sharp object was pressed against her neck.
"Not so fast, just calm down and follow me" his breath brushed against her ear. She tried her best to get up but her legs felt like jello, she had been sitting down for so long, it was as if she forgot how to walk.
The man helped her up and his grip on her felt like he was digging his nails into her. Even though his touch was as light and somewhat gentle. Her skin was just so cold and fragile that any little touch felt harmful to her.
He gently pushed her along and Elena walked, a small limp with one of her feet asleep. He helped her up the stairs, never taking the knife off her throat. From the corners of the door she could see light, when she got to the top of the stairs he opened it up.
She had to squeeze her eyes so hard, she moved but didn't know where she was going. The sound of a door closing made her jump. An idea than popped into her. If she could just look around, maybe she could find some kind of way out. So forcing her eyes open but she couldn't, it hurt too much, she was fighting her body on it.
She felt tears come out of her eyes from the pain. And almost instantly she was in another seat, he slowly sat her down and she felt the cool object removed from her neck.
