Kolena
"Is it serious?" Hayley had hoped it wasn't. Everyone was gathered around Hope, her fever becoming increasingly high, yet the young girl said she was cold, freezing.
Vincent had hesitated before answering Hayley. "I'm afraid so" Hayley's grip on her daughter had tightened, she suddenly became possessive and protective of her daughter.
Elena felt like she didn't belong there, almost like she was interrupting on something personal, this was family business after all.
If you told Elena that five years from now she would be hanging out with the Mikealson's she would call you crazy. But here she was.
Elena had seen Elijah's jaw tense. Taking his hand, she squeezed it, letting him know she was here.
There relationship hadn't been that much of a shock to the family, Rebekah had actually wondered when Elijah would confess his love for the doppelgänger.
Niklaus had some objections, but he couldn't find it in himself to care about his brother or his most recent lover, he's a father now. That was all he was focused on.
Now Kol, that is where all the trouble began. When he had came back to life and saw Elena, you can bet that a war almost broke out between the two. Kol didn't take it lightly that the girl who killed him lives in the same roof as him, not to mention she's sleeping with his brother. Elena didn't take it lightly knowing that the original who wanted her dead the most would sit at the table everyday with her, making rude comments, always being shut down by Elijah.
Rebekah found it annoying, Niklaus finding it incredibly amusing.
Elena had to admit, she felt guilty for killing him. But that doesn't mean she wouldn't have stopped it. He was going to kill Jeremy, and she wasn't about to sit back and watch it happen.
But soon Kol had sucked it up and came to the conclusion that Elena was going to be around for a while. But that also doesn't mean his dislike for her differed.
"What can we do?" Klaus's voice was dangerously low and cold.
"I can cure it. But I will need a special plant, a barracuda. I don't have access to it, but a special witch up north grows it and I bet she will be willing to give it up for a trade"
Hayley furrowed her brows. "A trade? What kind of trade? What could she possibly want?"
Vincent looked up at Elena. "The blood of a doppelgänger"
"What good would that do? She's dead" Rebekah had commented.
"Dead or alive, her blood is very powerful and she won't just hand over you a very powerful and rare plant for nothing. You have to even out the scales, so, one powerful thing for another"
Elena was taken back, all of the attention suddenly on her. Elijah looked at her, Hayley's eyes pleading Elena to do this. She didn't need encouragement or pleads, all they had to do was ask and she would gladly give her blood away. "Yeah I'll do it"
Klaus wouldn't admit it, but he was great full. But than again if she didn't agree he would have took her blood anyways and kill her on the spot. So he wasn't that moved by her acts of kindness.
Just than Kol and Davina had walked in. "Did you get it?" Vincent had jumped up when he saw the two, walking towards them. "Yeah, we got it. How is she doing?"
"It's getting worse" he took the supplies from Davina's hands and walked over to the table laying them out. Elijah's phone rang, he quickly answered it, the caller being Marcel.
